Morning folks and Merry Christmas to you all. I went to a gun show yesterday for the first time in 30+ years. Didn't find what I was looking for but found a Leupold 110. My two favorite American companies all in one.

Went duck hunting on Currituck Sound for three days this past week. Not a lot of ducks yet but still a fun three days with some ducks taken each day. I was going to take my Buck 117 but somehow had packed the Buck 212 in my console, so I used it. My two younger partners had no knives with them, I let one fellow borrow my Buck 121 that I keep in the car for fish and I gifted the youngest fellow the Buck Waterfowler I kept in my blindbag (yeah, he was happy about that!) The Buck 102 remains my favorite for breasting ducks, but the 212 worked fine - the extra width didn't cause any issue because for most ducks you are only using the first 1/2" or so of the tip. OH

Plucked a few too. OH

I used the 493 once before I passed it on - good knife for the job - well designed.

I still prefer the 100 series handles over any knife I've ever owned - the Buck 212.

You've had too much of my ugly mug so I'll quit now. Merry Christmas to my Buck Knife brothers at Blade Forums! OH

This is the 101 that kossetx(Pete) rehandled for me with 300 year old Post Oak and malachite. He did a wonderful job. I hope you can see how he matched the sides with that beautiful burl he chose. I love it and am going to use it! Thanks, Pete!

Sure, I was happy to do it Press! Your pictures do the knife justice!

I was so darn impressed with Preston's knife (yes, I am big headed) that well...I had to have one too. Mine is a 110 pro, bareheaded and flared oak/malachite.
