The Sunday Picture Show... (12-22-2019) . . . (OLD Show Look at the DATE...) Merry Christmas...

Merry Christmas week to you all!
Hope you all have a wonderful time with your families or knives whichever you prefer..

Here is the standout fixed blade of my collection due to the unusual stamp. Built on the 124 frontiersman. I have been made aware that “Survival” knives were at one time in vogue magazine back in the late 80s early 90s and 1 or 2 of these and a couple of Damascus 184s were made and stamped Survivor like this. I have tried to search online for anything further but came up trumps excuse the pun.

great pics so far keep them coming!

I've really taken to these Slim models, especially the Pro models in Brown Canvas Micarta and S30V.

If there was a poll for best new knife of the year, these would get my vote. Rock solid knives.

Marry Christmas week to all the Buck nuts. Hope you all have a great week and New Years.

In a thread earlier in the week BP_ posted that he was back to the forum after a bit of a break. I mentioned I would post pictures of my Klinkhamer sets in this weeks SPS.

They are all New in the black limited edition boxes with sheaths, paperwork, etc.

1st up is is the cherrywood and stag handled set.

From top to bottom they are the 124, 120, 119, 121, 105, 118, 103, 102, 116.

That is a pair of very nice sets. Beautiful top to bottom. Thank you very much for sharing, I really appreciate that.
Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and happy SPS to all. :)

As most of ya'll know I like the odd ones..I just found this Biker Bad Boy and couldn't resist! The 52nd annual was in 1992 but there's a fair amount of other year 112's connected to Sturgis and quite a few other model Bucks..Especially big Bowie's for the 50th anniversary. This is the first Stag 112 Sturgis I've seen but I'm fairly sure Buck didn't do this one. First off it has the absolute biggest/widest trim I have seen. And in hand it almost, but not quite, looks like plastic. I really like 1 of 1 Bucks like this one and many oddball 112's are not expensive..and fun to chase!20191222_155731.jpg 20191222_155914.jpg 20191222_155822.jpg

What a show. Still got lots of time for more pictures. Remember next Sunday Picture Show we want to see all the new Christmas knives. So if we have a nice sunny day take some pictures for the show. But then again any knife is welcome as long as it's a buck knife. That goes for blades or other brand knives. Should say Buck on it. But you can get around that if you put a buck knife in the picture with your none buck stuff. But please don't make it a habit because this is really for buck knives. I'm just repeating what one of the guys that keep us in line told me. I got a point against me when I put a non Buck on here when I first started. I got in trouble for posting a knife I saw at a big-box store. Which I think is kind of stupid. We all know where we buy our knives. Oh and I mentioned the big Bay site. That was a no no. But looks like everybody talks about evilbay, big box stores, Farm Stores. And of course Dairy Queen. Got to have ice cream with your knives. LOL. Merry Christmas again and thanks for sharing. Be safe and have a wonderful vacation enjoy your holidays with your family and friends. Armand

I ordered a 55 for my Dad for Christmas. I had the blade engraved with “My Father, My Friend”.

I’m putting this here as a placeholder for when the knife shows up - should be Monday.

In the meantime, here’s my 5160 102 cutting up onions and ham steaks for omelettes:

ETA - Got the 55 today. Boy, is it nice! Locks up like a bank vault, sharp as hell, and I know my Dad will love it. Pics as promised:

Sorry for being late to the show, first I had to work all day as I got called in to cover for someone who was sick. Second when I got home my web hosting site was down. Anyway, you all put on a great show thank you to everyone who participated in Armand's fantastic SPS. Wow, so many great knives this week.

I got my BCCI small Vantage in Micarta with DM steel blade. Also a photo of it's big brother.
