The Sunday Picture Show... (12-24-2017) . . . OLD Show look at the DATE...

I know I sound like you Uncle Sid the know it all. But, some of you need a safe if you don't have one, fire protected if possible. And think about a rider on your home insurance. Research and value your knives for ten years from now and check with your home insurance agent. Remember our buddy Oregon and what he lost in his house fire. Yes, you can enjoy a display of them but rotate your collection for your own protection. I display mine in photos. Use one of those video picture frames that rotates photos on its screen. 300Bucks

How about a unsigned no shield Chairman series 303. In all honesty I got lax on my record keeping and now I have no idea where I got it or how much it cost. Not much, I'm cheap.

It's cheaper to just increase the amount you have your "Contents" insured for, a rider will cost you a lot more. Same with firearms...

those 3 are the prototype samples that joe made for the employees Christmas party 2014---there was 39 total made with these 3 slightly different---the employess get to draw from a hat for the opportunity to buy 1 of the other 36 knives....badass knives!!!

Thanks Craig, I edited the post to show your information about being prototypes.

OK . . . I'm going to say it . . . just like a BF cool guy . . . are you ready . . . I never get to say it :
In on One.

I like seeing all the shiny nice knives but this needs some hard core users to. Arced a divot out of the edge in the area just in front of my thumb cleaning a car battery post, ground and polished it out. All good. You can't tell from these photos but I lovingly put a hand sanded mirror polish on the whole blade.
My first Buck. And I didn't know it at the time how great it was but my first one hand opening knife. It's a natural to open it this way. Thumb studs ?!? What's a thumb stud ? Who needs a thumb stud ?

And my first knife no body could criticize as being not a real knife or too small.
Still feels great in hand. Had it for about thirty five years plus now.

picked this kool item up last week at the factory-they said it did not work and was throwing it in the garbage--well I was there at the right time--they asked me if I wanted this pos--I don't know what the heck I put new battery in and it works just fine--nice-good karma eh...DSC03253.JPG

Happy SPS, and Merry Christmas everyone!

Great stuff, as we’ve come to expect.

So far, I’ve not been disappointed with these (other than the block itself being horrible). If you read some of my prior posts and opinion on Buck’s cutlery, you’ll know it was a leap of faith for me to try these out. I figured I’d go all in and give them a shot.

Sorry about the crappy photo.
