The Sunday Picture Show... (12-5-2010)

Excellent guys. Keep them coming. It's now time for my "morning" nap, so I'll be back to check for more later (after the morning nap and just before my afternoon nap).:D

I posted this in the 110 thread earlier this week when I got the package. It really is the nicest stag on any of my Buck knives

Beautiful knives and pictures again today guys! Great thread ITE!

Here's my addition:

Just got it on Thursday (I think) and it hasn't left my pocket since. I may have to pick up another one.

Jerry:

I am alway amazed at the knives you have. Please keep posting them. They are always thrilling and also often educational. I never know which is my favorite.

Telechronos:):):)

Been wanting a Kalinga Pro for some time but everyone was either out of stock or wanted a pretty penny for one. Found this one on a Cyber Monday sale for less than $89 delivered. The little hammer was a freebie.

Overall it's a little different feel than most of my folders. Lockup is nice and tight, action is smooth, blade is sharp and centered. Only flaw I could find is a spot on one side of the swedge that didn't get polished evenly. I like it quite a bit and might pick up one of the 420HC models. I do find pulling it out if the sheath a little difficult since very little of the knife is exposed so I'm thinking a nice, somewhat short black lanyard would look good and give me something to grip when pulling it out of the sheath. Anyone else use a lanyard on this model?

My newest 110, 1975 2 dot 5th version 5th variation from a pawn shop that came with the original sheath in excellent condition.

Are Bucktools o.k.? Here are a couple of factory goofs. The tool should have inches on one side and metric on the other side. These each have the same system on each side. I bought these in '98 when they were offered to club members.

Picked up the final piece in my Bone 110 collection today. Shush don't anybody tell the wife!

One just sold on EBay for 10.00 more than I paid for mine. I'm gonna get my hands on a 2 dot 2 rivet as soon as I can get back to pick it up.
