Great pictures all. Can someone tell me how you post the larger pics? Trying to post pics in for sale thread and I can only upload the small pics. Once I figure this out I'll show some of my vinatge knives here on the SPS. Thanks

I host the photos at photobucket. Then copy and paste the link. I use the 4th one down on the list of links. The IMG one.

It looks like Armand, Michael and Chris were just having a grand ol' time here on the SPS early this morning. Their own little chat room.*:)

Hahaha.... the benefit of being on the west coast... get an early start while everyone is sleeping.
Awesome 110 display!! That is really neat :)

Ok, this arrived on Monday.
690 CSAR-T... it has a 271 keeping it company in the sheath pouch.

Great Show so far everyone... You guys make me want to buy more knives...
Keep the pictures coming, but save some for next week... ITE ...

Great show so far for this Sunday. Really interesting seeing the 110 blade waste sheet and the blade making process display.

For this weeks contribution I have a Buck 923 and Buck 110 Mammoth ivory set with a fantastic Buffalo scrimshaw scene by Dale Fisk. The 923 measures 8-7/8" with a 4-3/8" mirror polished blade stamped "BUCK CUSTOM USA" tapered tang, thong hole, and brass guard. The 110 also has a mirror polished blade stamped with script "BUCK CUSTOM USA" as well with brass bolsters. Both have interior mammoth ivory on the scrimshawed side and exterior bark mammoth ivory on the backside.

Keep up the great show and post some pictures of anything Buck related that you have. New, used, old, dirty, gritty, it is all good to us.

James….once again I can't decide which side of those knives I like best. I really like the exterior bark on the pile side of those beauties!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Stunning. I need a pillow for my head now. Question: Did Fisk do his work with the scales on or off the knives? If while on then amazing work around the pins.

James, your killing me with that Buck 923 and Buck 110 Mammoth ivory set with that
Buffalo scrimshaw scene by Dale Fisk... I collect Buffalo's and yours are Beautiful
(I collect everything)... I hope to find a set some day... Nice pictures to by the way...

Thanks for sharing that set with all of us here on the SPS... ITE ...:thumbup::thumbup:

First, this is a great Sunday Picture Show today. Lots of great pictures to look at.

For my donation, I would like to show what I did with an old Buck 112 two dot I picked up off the bay. Really like bringing the knife back to life.

Added great 532 to my collection, fist one for last 2 years - big thank to Lance Hohenstreet!

Oregon,

I would think the scrimshaw would have to be done after the scales are on the knives since the scales have to be sanded flush with the bolsters, liners etc. which would ruin the scrimshaw work. But again I do not know for sure.

Stumps,

I agree the scales on the backsides are just as fantastic looking as the scrimshawed side. Would be nice to have a set with exterior bark on both sides like that.

Thank you all for your comments on my knife set as well as everyone's contributions to the SPS and to Armand for doing this for us each week. Keep it going.

Wow that Mammoth pair is so sweeet!

Here's a couple I got in the mail on friday. I think that Sierra Trading Post blade will soon find a new home.
