The Sunday Picture Show... (2-2-2020)(OLD Show Look at the DATE)(Super Bowl Sunday)

Happy Super Bowl SPS everyone. Very nice show so far, gentlemen. There sure are some beautiful knives each week.

The workhorse for me today. I love how deep and dark the ebony scales are. They match on both sides, too. I’ll enjoy using it as much as I do looking at it.

I am from Kansas so, Go Chiefs!

Well, thank you. I might be wrong about the model number. I see some that call it 405. IDK. There is an edition with a white micarta handle, also.. Maybe some one with the knowledge will post up.
ETA, DOGPOUND77, posted one with a stag handle and called it a 405...so we have an answer:D
. It's a 405 Pres

Guess I should show it out of the scabbard...

Yes, yes you should...and thanks for doing it.

Roger, how about 11/02/2011?

Bert
Since it's no longer Sunday I'll add to the derail.
And 01/02/2010
10/02/2001
12/02/2021
These are just quick one's I came up with, there's likely more, and if you did dd/mm/yyyy there's at least two more 21/02/2012 and 22/02/2022

They do tend to multiply..when your not looking to close lol!
The wear and tear on those tell quite a story. I can imagine the different tasks they were asked to do over the years. Most are in good shape. Action is awesome still.

I was very interested in Bowie's a few years back and as I looked at pictures of them I often wondered where it had been what the owners were like if it had ever been used in combat or self defense..The old saying 'if a knife could talk' what stories it could tell really resonated with me with the old Bowie's. It's such a personal tool too. In your hand or pocket strapped on your belt a knife was the most important item a man or woman could have back when the Bowie was popular. When I see a well used Buck I know it was cared for and most likely treasured and counted on for countless tasks a knife is needed.
