A bit of 110 history.

The Honey Worm Grooved Bone scales with Nickle Silver Bolster Brown Leather sheath and S30V Blade was a BCCI fundraiser knife in 2004.

For some unknown reason Buck built them with Brass instead of NS. However there were some built with NS

Richard Mathney's notes says there were 100 made with brass, and only 26 with NS

These were priced at $85 ea. Reference the Fall 2004 BCCI news letter.

Another 110. The 110 seems to be the most important Knife from BKI.
I found it in Germany and got it for roundabout 40 USD. A steal, isn't it?

Best,
Haebbie

110's are definitely fun Haebbie.

This one is auto only, NS, finger groove. Blade is standard 420HC

With the Idaho. Action is extremely well made. No idea who did it.

Great knife, I would be glad to have one. The automatics are forbidden
in Germany. Allowed are automatics with up to 3 3/8 inch blade length only.

Best,
Haebbie

Very nice one Larry. Here's another very nicely done auto.

Wasn't this the first 110 configured with S30V? I got the brasss version.

The first one I recall. It would have been my FIRST with N/S bolsters and I recall waiting anxiously for it. Was dissappointed to have it arrive with BRASS instead!

Custom Shoppe 110 modified to take Selector blades. Ebony is really dark, so it doesn't show as well as it could in the hands of the better photogs out there.

Thank you, Joe for making this possible. I hope all is going well!

A couple you don`t see a lot of, Crosslocks. The bottom one is signed by Chuck Buck.

Nothing fancy but a couple I picked up from a gentleman selling at a local venue yesterday.

Buck 0110BRSNK-B with leather sheath, LNIB. The only reason I'm calling it LNIB is that it was his display piece so it's seen a little handling but no damage.

Been wanting one with nickle instead of brass and I must say I like it a lot. Was told this was part of a contracted order but I don't know for whom.

Short Nighthawk 0655BO-B Box is dated 6/16/09 however the blade stamp is 2008.

Had been seriously considering one of these and I'm glad I bought it. Great feel, great look and really took a nice edge. Not too say it wasn't pretty sharp right out of the box (NIB) but I like to see if I can improve and I'm quite happy. IIRC this and my 119 are the only fixed blade Bucks I have. They sure won't be my last.

I thought I'd show this one again. It's an Ergo Hunter buildout. A Select blade with the Avid handle. This is the only Buck I've ever seen with the blade etched 420HC.

The hunting season is closed now , but I have got some fresh moose meat in my ice-box.
Which are better knives for work with moose meat ?
