The Sunday Picture Show... (2-9-2014)

Hi All,

What a fantastic show you folks have going today! Thank you Armand & all of the posters who took the time to share some Buck knives.

No new knives to share, sorry. However, I do have a few photo's taken on the road trip that my wife and I took last week. CA has been in a bad drought this year and almost no snow had fallen in the Sierra's. That is until I was going to drive there....lol.

A few road trip photo's

I was asleep at the wheel when I flippantly purchased this selector handle. I was thinking Selector.... replaceable blade, no problem... oops, this is a 428 and it's the fixed blade that's crap. Remember children, turn off the power before cutting electrical wires...

Here is a mirror polished 500 eagle scout knife buildout, that Mark graciously sold me :)
It is NIB and has the distressed black leather sheath (which I likevery much)
The intention was that I was going to rescale it with something nice and different.
After David Martin's 112 scrimshaw thread, I thought "hmmmm.... I bet they could make this one super awesome!"
So after contacting DM, I am set on at some point in the, hopefully near, future sending it to him so the Martin's can work some magic on it :)

Nice pics

old pic, but this little buck was just a few rows from my natural blind.

I know it's Monday morning, but I'm heading out the door for a bird hunt in the Sandhills - hoping to use this old Buck 321 my Dad owned for many years and gave to me (wild birds are hard to come by). OH

Ps Great young buck photo Tony - looks like a wildlife agency calendar shot!

Great SPS guys, fantastic Bucks out there.

Desoto, with a little work on a grinder, or with some files, you could offer a second life to that knife as a combo standard screwdriver & bottle opener.
