The Green Futurewood Kodiak Hunter was made from 1973 to 1976, 1973-75 were made pretty much the same and in 1976 they added some blue glass to the overlay. It is difficult for me to determine the exact year of yours, I follow the Grayling Kodiaks and early Takedowns mostly.

Thank you for information. I like the old Fred Bear bows a lot. They are great to shoot. The Kodiak Hunter has no blue glass, so it is from 73-75. I also have a Kodiak Magnum and a Black Bear, both made in Grayling too. My wife shoots a White Bear. That’s an awesome looking bow. Guys, excuse the off topic please. I keep it short, if possible.

Here's a 923 with a magnet that wife got from her sister when she visited Ireland. I bumped it off the fridge one day and it shattered a bit. Had to do the best I could to glue it back together. Needless to say she noticed....
