The Sunday Picture Show... (3-2-2014)

I have enough handles to cover the 10 factory Selector blades, but that defeats the purpose. The object of the Selector is to increase the ratio of blades to handles so as to reduce the volume and weight of the carry.View attachment 420011

Did Buck produce, regular production, a camo Selector? CJ mentions it in an old thread discussing the Selectors.

What a great show I've been enjoying all the selector knives today ,

Here is a 931 I got about three or four weeks ago , now that I have a picture of it
it's time to put it to work out in the kitchen I'm sure it will perform great .

ITE, thank you for your perseverance with the SPS. I look forward to it every Sunday.

I would like to submit for your viewing a 110 I purchased in 1967. I purchased it used and all I received was the knife. It is a light-weight at 5.5 ounces. This it the way it came from the factory. The spacer is integrated brass. I tried to determine it's year of manufacture with the timeline and any help would be appreciated.

Hi All,

Happy Sunday Picture Show to all who come to see & who come to post. Brother Amand what can I/we say, thank you for taking the time to do this for everyone each week! What a fantastic show you all have going again this week, so many great Buck knives and wild life photo's to enjoy.

Here is a new to me Bowie knife. It left the home of a fellow Buck collector and came to enrich my home, what a work of art (thanks Rich). This 905 Mountain Man Bowie was brought to life in the old custom shop.

Hi st8yd,

Thanks for the compliments I love the sweeping blade and the stag tops it off. It's also nice to see you noticed that my wildlife was just a little flat, but, wildlife just the same;) those critters always have a bad attitude. "There is a feller up in Canada there dontcha know and he carves on the horns of many critters". The antler in those photo's has a bear head carved on it, fished it out of the bay.

Hi Armand,

Thanks for the compliment, no I did not get this one from Dick. I got it right here on the BF Buck knives for sale section. From Brother "RLF" his name is also Richard.

GoJoJo,

What can you see of the butt rivets? I can't read the tang stamp. Is it "BUCK" or "BUCK*"?

jb, that is such a fantastic looking Bowie! Awesome stag, and the clip on the blade is just gorgeous
It looks to have a tapered tang in the handle as well, very cool. Congrats on adding this beauty to your spectacular collection of Bucks!

Birthday present to myself :)

NIB 1989 102 woodsman :)

I bought new, and carried an '87 woodsman backpacking and hunting for many years. Gave that well used knife to one of my younger brothers a few years ago, and needed another one of that era. Thank you Larry O.

Found this in the box! A bonus from Larry maybe?
I now have a tie tac for next time I wear a tie (wore a tie twice last year....hahaha)
