The Sunday Picture Show... (3-20-2016)

This is my first Sunday picture show for over a year...When you have been away from the forum for a long time like I have its really nice to be back.

Can you say something about your time away. How are you? Do you ever get into the Everglades? I've been told that Florida has crocodiles and alligators. Will they both have at me or let me be when I am in your neck of the woods?

Here is a couple more Buck 500's. These have satin finished blades and bolsters with micarta scales and BCCI tang stamp. Only 8 made.

James has cornered 25% of the market on these buggers!! :D

I like those! The satin finish goes well with that Micarta.

I've had physical issues and my life's priorities shifted away from collecting. .I love my 112's more than any other model and at one time several years ago I had a great collection of rare, odd,1 of 1 and unusual 112's...I was really proud to display them in the Blade show and the Gator show here in Florida. I had to let a few get away from me and did not have the resources to go to the shows along with upgrading my displays. So I drew away from the forum and knife çollecting in general. But I realized just recently after a call from Armond that I still love collecting and the folks I've met in the BCCI and the forum here. Collecting Bucks has bought me a lot of joy since 2007 and even if I cannot afford to be as involved as I was I can still be a part of the community.

Clint, you'll always be a part and a friend to are community...
Looks like we all miss you here...

Armand ... :)

Lot's Beautiful Buck Knives today... Great pictures too by the way...
Keep them coming... Thanks for sharing...

Thank you for pulling back the curtain on yourself. That is something I find almost impossible to do myself because I think like a wrestler if I tell you to twist here and it will hurt then, well, you will twist that part of me. I've kept my distance from this forum a few times to punish myself, hide the cookie jar, because I've thought of myself as having deserved punishment. Taking away something I really enjoy hurts. You don't gotta have knives. Anyone remember when I would cut paper knives and give you a quiz as to the model #. Cheap and fun. For me anyway. You could do that without legs or a lot of $.

Armand sure knows how to use a telephone doesn't he. Phone angel ITE. I was checking my work online at 2AM when an email rolls in about a bargain ebay item I like from ITE, I bot it and fell back asleep. Mind reader, cutlery sultan, friend to all, phone bill must be freightening!

You Florida guys never talk about crocs or gators. Just Oregonians. Guess I gotta go myself.....

MaxCast - The micarta on those 2 500's is actually black with a hint of grey. Not sure why they look a bit blue in the photo's.

Bucksway - Thanks for coming back to visit us and hope you stay with us. Welcome back.

Here's some old pic's for the new guys and gals...
I got this one from a ex-Buck-employee

475 stag with no stamping at all...

:)

Great show every one. There is a new Buck style knife every week, and I never get tired of looking at them.

Stumps it looks like you were "tickled" to meet Lewis and Clark.

Here is a X-Tract display I picked up at the BCCI 25th.

What a show! The best part of being back is how many new Bucks there is to see..

Great show again this week! I don't have anything new to contribute, been a busy week.

With baseball season a couple of short weeks away, I thought I would resurrect this one from the Home Run Derby last season.
