The Sunday Picture Show... (3-26-2017) . . . (OLD Show look at the Date...)

A Buck 112 I carried while in the U.S. Navy (Jun 1965 - Jul 1989). Not sure when it was made but I think I picked it up in the late 1970s. I drilled a hole in the rear bolster to put a thong through to fit over my wrist when working on antennas over the side or on the mast to keep it from going in the water or falling on someone. No, it isn't going for a spa treatment as that would erase the memories.

A Buck 110 also carried while in the Navy. Can't remember when I picked it up but it is a 2-dot. No spa treatment for this one either.

My sincerest thank you for your many years of service to our country. Those knives are great, the 112 is perfect. I love a hard worked knife and the history behind it. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for posting these. I too carried a 110 during part of my two enlistments. I misplaced it for a long time but finally found it a year or two back. I did my own spa treatment. Thought a bought just leaving it alone but I'm ok with my decision.

I know I've posted these more than once previously but fits with Armands opening.
Model 883 Code 3 Crosslocks c.2005. Came in red and gray smooth anodized aluminum with a sheath.
I assume these were marketed for Paramedics.

And just so you don't leave the Sunday Picture Show without having learned something.... pasted from Wiki

The Star of Life is a blue, six-pointed star, outlined with a white border which features the rod of Asclepius in the center, originally designed and governed by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) (under the United States Department of Transportation, DOT). Traditionally in the United States the logo was used as a stamp of authentication or certification for ambulances, paramedics or other EMS personnel. Internationally, it represents emergency medical services units and personnel.

Wow guys awesome Buck knives again for the SPS it's truly the greatest show on earth. Brother Armand a big thank you for taking the time to do this for all of us Buck nuts each week! Also, thank you to all who take the time to add a photo or two for all to enjoy.

Skyler, the Ivory Sam Colt 124 that Sam Shortes owns is one of the grail knives for many of us 124 fans (only other I have seen is in EEE's collection). There is a great story that goes with the 4-5 of those sample knives.

Armand, great yellow color on that knife. Been watching the auction and well some folks may end up with buyers remorse after over paying for yeller knife. LMAO

Ok Makael, love the no stamp stag 124, tell us the story behind it????

Here is a Duke 500 from 2006, kings ranch SO. It came in a laser etched wood box and the felt or glue has caused some oxidation issues (SPA Trip soon).

Joe had the blade and a friend of mine had the scales. Joe marked the guard and put all together. I acquired the 124 in a trade for another 124 I had. Love the knife.

The folding kalinga was put together by our own MT POKT. He did a great first class job.

I don't think this one has been shown yet. A 110 with Ivory G10 scales and a Damascus blade. Another unique knife from Copper & Clad. Looks much prettier in hand than my pictures can show.

ITE, you are terrific, hope you get all the 422s you don't have and thanks for getting the SPS going! Another great show, I do like the 124 and that Colt's one is 'to die for'...Makael, if I live close as you do, I would be 'persona non grata' and broke:eek:.

Here is my contribution for today's show. Not a Colt's, but it is a 124, LE, horn handle, horse inlay and chip flint blade. Preston

Very nice preston!!!!!!

This "hodge-podge of knives" was great to view today, along with so many other sharp-looking Bucks. Appreciate this Sunday show each weekend.

But for a Sunday afternoon, it was especially fun to enjoy the tongue-watering that happened when I saw this sliced turkey on that beautiful plate, tastefully displayed with the fork and Buck. Yum.

I have a hodge podge of picture from throughout this past week.....
Now to Saturday where my wife cooked a turkey dinner just because she's awesome. I hadn't used the General for anything else yet so carved up the bird with it. It of course performed admirably..

Thank you to Armand for putting on this weekly show, and to all the people that participate. I look forward to each Sunday for the big picture show, always a pleasure.

Great show today everyone. What great knives you all have and great pictures.

Thank you Armand for this great opportunity for all us to take part in and look forward to each and every Sunday. That Bucklite of yours is really sweet and valuable too now that I see how much the one on the bay is
selling for. WOW!!

Here is a 531 Sawby lock NIB.
