The Sunday Picture Show... (3-27-2016) . . . Happy Easter . . .

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. My Mother was one month short of 20 years since she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. The longest any of us have ever heard of. We kept her at home with my Father. For the last 5 years myself, my sister, and my younger brother took every third weekend and one day a week taking care of her. She had not been out of bed for 3 1/2 years. Tears have been shed but we all know she is at peace now.

gedlicks,

That is a lot of years of care-taking. It is hard to see a loved one change. I hope you, your sister, and your brother will soon find peace for yourselves.

Bert

Now on a different note I must report that two members here conspired with my wife to help her with an anniversary gift for me.

All I can say is THANK YOU BOTH for all of the help and the knife, I don't think that I can THANK YOU enough for what you have done. HL

My heart goes out to you James. God bless you and your family. I admire what you have all have done.

110 Dave I thought that you had fallen into a hole. Very very good to hear that is not the case. When you figure out how to post from a cell please let me know. I've been meaning to get around to it myself.

Thank you kindly gentlemen for making this SPS tradition an enjoyable, happy and friendly place to gather. I can't tell you how much it means to me that this is the case. You all have 1/2 a beer coming. Yea. It is true.

Saw Buck in a flowering cherry tree on a beautiful Spring Easter day in a happy place in Oregon:
