The Sunday Picture Show... (3-4-2012)

Nice knives and pictures as usual. No new pictures from me this week. Here is an oldie of my 2002 and 2005 Woodsman #102's.

Great knives, everyone. These threads are inspiring.

Here is my contribution. After tackling a 112 rescale in mesquite, I decided I needed a matching pair. Here is the 110 I just finished. I'm very happy with the results.

Very nice Casey

I actually picked this 110 up this weekend. I already destroyed the edge as there were some small rocks in the wood I was working on. I'll clean the edge up tonight. The buck 110 was my grail knife as a child. My dad had an old one with a missing tip. Too me the thing was magic. I snuck it out a few times to use. Sadly, I was never able to get a buck 110 till a few years ago. I got a custom shop 110 but it just never had the same feel for whatever reason. I eventually sold that one as it wasn't being used. Come yesterday, and I just had to give the 110 another shot. Maybe I have changed, but this knife feels pretty special to me. I look forward to using it in the years to come.

There is little to nothing with which you can find fault in a 110. It's a great knife at a great price. They'll last a life time.

A photo from the terrific 2011 OKCA, Mr./Mrs. Houser's collection of early Buck production. Its coming around again in mid-April so this teaser is a timely whistle wetter for you aficionados. http://www.oregonknifeclub.org/

That three pin wood-handled fingergrooved steak knife is one I don't think I would recognize as being a Buck.

Great show fellas!

1127 miles Stumps? I dont like to drive that long of a distance.

Perhaps you were hiking in Wolverine Boots.

Ha!! That would be a long drive!! :) I always wear Asics running shoes when I'm backpacking. Boots and me don't mix very well.

Thanks everyone for another great SPS!!

jb4570....sounds like you have a great family life. Gotta love the grandkids!!

edbeau and THE_LONGBOW....I couldn't walk pass that creek without taking a picture with that sign with my Buck knife in it. It just seemed fitting. :)
