Thanks DeSky for sharing all those sweet 102s and friends....

Here's a 102 Buffalo... You know how I like Buffalos and Bucklites...

:)

For Armand's greatest show on earth a few 102. Thank you for another SPS. And one more picture for the frends of turquoise. I don't know who made the handle of the Akonua. May be it was Blue Mountain Turquoise too?

Another Sunday Picture Show!!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
Thanks Armand!! :)

Here is a Paradigm.

Here is an older picture of mine that some of you may not have seen before.
I have two of these and the Buck darts to go with them.

I've been thinking of opening one up and using it. :)

Another older photo of a Buck Hoodlum I was using for some maintenance trail work along the Appalachian Trail in Vermont.

Okay...my last post for now....more of my older photos. :)

And a coral snake....

Enjoyed it immensely. Great pics of minty looking Bucks. Please stab that snake. Hate those things!!

Red and Yellow kills a fellow. SE US only. But there is a good snake that is a mimic but the yellow only touches black. 300

Original bill of sale in box ... $52..... $50 for the knife and $2 for Twinkies. No evidence of Twinkie crumbs on the blade. 1994 blade, 1998 bill of sale. Box label WOODSMAN STAG / 0102-ST-0 / Cat. 694. Could wish it had a little more "bark".

The top one is not factory and not something I would normally purchase but didn't want to make a 70 mile round trip and pay the $10 admission just to return home empty handed. The Stag bark is absolutely beautiful. Compare to the factory 1994 Stag knife below which pales in comparison. I don't care for the appearance with the micarta spacers removed. Assembly is a little off square which you can see in the third picture resulting in some gaps on the right side of the handle. The pommel pin is nearly invisible but the blade is a little wavy from buffing. Came with a decent period correct flap sheath and was reasonably priced.

Social attitudes change when you get away from the city.

Good morning gents; the way I remember the rhyme from my Boy Scout days was, "red on black, a friend of Jack, but red on yellow kills a fellow!"
My SPS entries, a Buck 102 to stay with the theme and an acquisition from the past week - an older Buck 118. OH

The way I always remembered it from back in the 1960s was "Red and black, venom lack. Red and yellow, kill a fellow".
There were always lots of coral snakes in west central Florida.

Stumps, growing up in the woods of eastern NC I never saw a coral snake in the wild (we had one pickled in formaldehyde at the Scout Camp). However, there were plenty enough of Copperheads, Pygmy Rattlers, and Cottonmouth's to be aware of. OH

Thank You ITE for another Greatest Show. For my part I went outside on this beautiful spring day and took a picture of my only 102 with a two dot 112. I did this so folks that are not owners of a 102 to see the size of the knife as compared to a more common Buck.
