The Sunday Picture Show... (3-6-2016)

Hello Everyone. Great SPS so far today. Here is one I recently picked up that I do like quite a bit. Akonua with Mammoth Ivory handles:thumbup::thumbup: Was told this was made by Buck in the 80's. Who ever did it, did a wonderful Job!:thumbup:

And My favorite 102:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

SHB, what a sweet 102... That Akonua with Mammoth Ivory Handles is Beautiful...

Thanks for sharing it on the SPS...

:)

Last one for me today.

This is a Buck Paradigm that I carry quite often.

A couple older wildlife photos I have.

And an old magazine ad.

The way I always remembered it from back in the 1960s was "Red and black, venom lack. Red and yellow, kill a fellow".
There were always lots of coral snakes in west central Florida.

Ha,

Here in the wild west it's:

"Red & Black, friend of Jack, Red & Yellow kill's a fellow!

Mark, did you pick up that little guy and give him a snakey kiss? Awesome photo's, love the swimming Para.

It is not Sunday without ITE making it that by blessing this day by heralding it with his heavenly SPS. Trumpet on o angel arc angel of cutlery trumpet for a thousand years more.

Flying with the flock three 102's, old, new and factory custom:

Freeway sign in Post Falls, ID welcoming Buck Collector Club Members for the 25th hearty party (never felt this welcome even in my own home):

Turkey giving me the run around over by Cheney, near Post Falls:

Adult moose, Turnbull Reserve, near Cheney, close to Post Falls:

Unidentified angry quadruped disturbed by freeway construction near Buck Factory. Take steps to protect your ankles if you encounter this hostile critter:

In the Ozarks many a country woman keeps a sharp hoe by the back door and then the saying would go like this : Red, Yellow or Black, you hack, hack, hack.

I have a 102, just a regular one. No box but do have flap over sheath. 300

Lots of nice 100 series knives here today. My favorite is the 110!
Here's an old pic but I don't think I've shared it on the Buck forum. The scales are not imported Ram, but local.

Great show again everyone!

No 102s in my box, but this ol' 118 lives in my hunting pack.

Early 102 barrel nut with leather spacers.
Sorry for the bad piture.
And, in sake of completeness: The 102 three line inverted from the last SPS/GSOE

Oh, dang Craig, that's what my Grandmother would say.... Leesa's Grandmother was a life long resident of Arkansas and she confirmed it. We Laughed and laughed at that saying. DM
