The Sunday Picture Show... (3-9-2014)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have a cool unfinish and unsharpen
4" Empress Trio knife... I don't know if I should take it to Leroy and him finish it...
I kind of like it the way it is... What would you do with it...
Leave it the way it is or have it finish...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

4" Trio...

:) ;) :) Allyson :) ;) :) ... ;) :) ;) Sam ;) :) ;)

Thanks, Armand, for another GSOE. I think your 4" Empress has a lot more worth if it is finished.
If you leave it as is this savours of a defective knife out of the waste bucket.

Haebbie

My small part of the show is the 119 Experimental .

Hi All,

Good morning & happy SPS:thumbup:. A big thank you to Armand for starting the show! I agree with Herbert, that knife is just a bit ruff Armand;).

Here is a pair of nice 112s

Here is an old three dot Buck 111 I found in a pawn shop this past week - it's been there awhile (seen it once before), decided it was time to take it home. ITE, I think I would leave that knife the way it is, unless of course you want to use it. OH

here is a 119 three spacer that I found yesterday at a local gun show - ITE, that is a cool little trio, I would leave it as is and find a matching one that is finish to go along with it .

Thanks for another SPS Armand!!:thumbup::thumbup:

JB….you know I like those stag 112's!!! :)

I missed last week's SPS. Just got home last night after backpacking most of northern Georgia on the Appalachian Trail.

Here's the knife I carried and a couple pictures of some of the rhime ice along the trail.

Another great show this week. Not good to follow Stumps pictures. Here is an old group photo of a 450, 112 and a 482.

Two new hat pins: Splissors and 50th Ann. of the 110. Shown here with the entire pin collection.

ITE, Wood handles and not Micarta?
Haebbie, Looks by your photo you were picking flowers and stumbled upon the 119! Nice composition.
jb, 112s never looked better.
OH, buy a lottery ticket you found a perfect vintage Classic in a pawn shop. Did the sheath come with it?
Hendo, You have a good reason to go to another gun show finding such a great knife, congratulations.
Stumps, Top drawer custom knife for a 1st class trek and great chilly scenes of winter. I've hiked a bit in and around Harper's Ferry and it made me want more.
edbeau, a nice happy family photo for a terrific Sunday. Thank you.

Daily pocket carry for the last few weeks, a 271 in S30V.
Previously the pocket carry was a 271 in 154CM.

Well, Oregon, that's true ;) Thank you!

I have a wildlife picture.

Well it is not really wildlife

because it is on our paddock: But on the other side:

You all know the Unic(h)orn. It is a very rare animal.

And it is nerly impossible to have unic(h)orns in captivity.

We have no unic(h)orn, we have an animal that is a lot rarer

I is a Unicstag. Nobody knows that we have one of them

but I dont want to keep it from you any longer.

So I toock a picture to share it with you.

Best,

Haebbie

Great Buck Picture Show so far this week and as usual I love to see everyone's Buck knives from factory productions to limited customs and the accessories such as the hat pins.

Armond my vote would be to leave the Empress as is and get another like new to put along side of it.

For my addition this week is a couple Buck 532 with mammoth ivory handles and nickel silver bolsters. The one on the right is a Bass Pro exclusive and etched on the blade is "WELCOME TO POST FALLS IDAHO" and engraved in the other side is Chuck Buck and CJ Buck signatures as well as the serial number of the knife 095/250. Came in the black limited edition box with a black leather sheath. The one on the left was purchased form a collection and came in the blue felt lined display case which is not original to the knife. The cutout is more for a 110 sized knife but still looks great in it. The last picture shows the filework on the inside of the liners that the 532's come with from the factory.

And for my wildlife picture is a picture I took of 6 deer that were in back of my house a few evenings ago. It was just starting to get a bit dark and they were around 50 yards out so the shutter speed was a bit slow and they turned out a bit fuzzy. All does and fawns.

ITE - I would keep the knife as it is , you do not see many unfinished knives .
jb4570 - Those two really are a nice pair of 112s .

So I'm going with the "What should I do Theme" I got this 112 blade and should I

Make a custom knife with it
Keep it as is and start a blade collection
Or sell it and take the easy way out .

D-RIG, I think you should give it to me for my blade collection... J/K ... ;) ... I have lots Blades but need to find more
for my blade display... You got a nice Damascus 112 blade... Thanks for shaning it...

Thanks edbeau , I got the blade because I saw a knife here that I think was
the best knife I have ever seen it was a first year 112 with a brass spacer
and it was a barehead with some kind of Hawaiian wood and of course the
damascus blade , I would like to this knife again .

Great Show so far everyone... Lets keep it going... Thanks, ITE ...:thumbup::thumbup:

Just recently got this B&C 113 I'd been eye ball'n it at the local hdwe store for quite some time.
For the no longer wildlife picture a nice 125# guilt my daughter shot yesterday, we were actually turkey hunting when the hogs came in and we'd been there long enough without any action so she took it. I have been anxious to break it in, so I got to quench it on the hog. It is a very nice handleing tool. And looking forward to some ribs tonight :-)
