Here is another rare Buck. This is a Buck 106 Micarta Wrap Around Axe. This one was made for a brief time in 1969. This design was after the Phenolic and before the Slad handle Micarta Axes.

For those who have not been to my Bladeforums Knife Makers Forum - I have "found" a miner in Arizona hard rock mining a vein that he found, of a blue stone called Shattuckite. I am buying all of the big pieces he is managing to work free. It is much harder than Turquoise so it will actually stand up to carry and use as a knife scale.
Here are a few pictures of Shattuckite on a "few" Buck 110's.
