ya got all three 104s. nice. which is your favorite?

I love them all - I usually don't like flashy, especially with knives, but I am loving the red coated one. The cobalt coated one is probably my favorite aesthetically. But the SKBlades 104 is my favorite due to the grind, D2 steel, sheath, and the burlap micarta handle's look and grip.

Makael Makael from what I have read here and in other places, the Buck Granddad Barlow was an exclusive for SMKW. Made by Camillus under the Buck brand name but was never in the Buck line, was never sold by Buck, or shown in the Buck catalog. 300Bucks could fill in the gaps. OH
Ok, model 331 are made by Camillus in 1999 for Buck to be sold thru SMKW. Cool knife yes a large knife but not many Barlows look like a decent filet knife.

Very nice knife. Lucky to get one from Craig.

Both the large and small version made in manner stated above. Also the yellow scaled versions. I don't know who gave them model numbers, Buck or Buck collectors. In my guess opinion, these and a couple of other models were caused by a couple of knife icons trying to keep Camillus afloat for as long as they could. kudos to them..... I also have a prototype dark jigged bone factory version thanks to a forum member. 300

pjsjr..that 308 Canoe collaboration with A G Russell was and is my absolute favorite 300 Series folder..I first seen the MOP version with mirror polished blades and Chucks and Mr. Russell's signature and thought it was the most beautiful Buck I had ever seen. For years now I have looked at listings on the bay just to see if maybe, just maybe one would show up at any kind of a reasonable price since MSRP for the MOP version is over $400.00..

Clint, there are other places to source Bucks. I can't mention them here but if you need me to I'll try to get you the info. I liked my stag so much I wanted to carry it but didn't want to risk loss or damage to such a nice piece. I found this one, 'used' for just a bit over a Bennie, that had several cracks in the stag but was solid for carry. I could even have Leroy recover it and be under listed price. These really carry nice and the blade steel is great! Here's my carry 308...

Per AG Russell (who has since passed),

The Chuck Buck/A.G. Russell Signature knife will be limited to a total of 500 pieces of signed knives – 250 with Black Lip Pearl and 250 with India Stag. Chuck Buck and I have known each other for over forty years and have done business together for all of those forty some years. Along with Pete Gerber, Chuck and I are the "old guys" in the knife industry. Several years ago, we thought it would be interesting to create a knife to celebrate this long friendship. Since Buck® is in the business of making knives and I have been known to design a knife or two, we decided that I would design the knife and Buck would produce it in their factory in Idaho.

The design is a Canoe Moose, a double end jack knife, having a large blade at each end, in a Canoe pattern frame. The 2-5/8" Spear Point blade is 154CM at 59-61 Rc. and is engraved with my signature. The 2-5/8" Wharncliffe blade is S30V at 59-60 Rc. and is engraved with Chuck's signature. The highly polished bolsters and the liners are nickel silver and the handle scales are genuine India Stag. Measures 3-1/2" closed and weighs 2.5 oz. Made in the U. S. A. Includes a black leather pocket pouch and ships in a black leatherette covered display box.
