The Sunday Picture Show... (4-2-2017) . . . (Old Show Look at the Date)

Roger,

You and I both a day late on that one. I figured it was gone by the time I responded to LO's list. Happy it landed where we got to see photographs of it though. Now we really feel bad about missing out on it.

JB

Did you get that set off eBay not too long ago?

Skyler,

Wow, the Scrim Indian knives are to die for. I have never seen the 192 version before thank you for sharing. Also, thanks for sharing AB 119 and 103 knives.

[emoji1360] I wouldn't be surprised if it's the only one. It was made the last year the custom shop was open. I'm guessing someone special ordered it.

You sent me a message before I even had those little tattooed knives in hand. Remember? I wanted to know how you were able to email me from an auction site that's supposed to be confidential. Lol, you need to share some of that knowledge with me my buck brother because you find the best stuff. You truly remind me of brother Armand and his bag of trix from days past (he knows what I'm talking about).

I am currently working on a titanium 110 for myself and wanted a layard hole, I was going to attach it to the pocket clip mount, but that 560 is much cleaner!

This one is 6063-T6 aluminum as my prototype. I'm out of 1/8" stainless stock but have more coming. I've been trying to figure out the best way to add a lanyard ring to a 110/112. I've not been happy with my other solutions to this point, but I think this is the winner.

Nice. Very ingenuitive! I might have to borrow that idea for mine and using 6AL-4V in search of the perfect 110!

By all means.

FYI, I put the loop on the heel rather than centered so my sheath would still close.;)

jb,

Armand and Skyler are hardcore. They will contact anyone who might have a lead on Buck knives, or even folks that show photos of specials to remember them if they ever get ready to sell. Old collectors or old Buck factory workers are no exception. It's the hound that runs the fastest that gets the fox. Armand lived in SD, CA when Buck moved to Idaho and a number of folks retired, he was in the right place at the right time and wasn't bashful. I remember a story of someone else crawling in the factory dumpster every evening as Buck was packing for ID.
