Happy Easter all. Here's a few shots from a road trip some friends and I went on this last week.
We were out at Pioneertown, CA to see a few bands play and camp out.

Happy Easter everyone!!

Thanks Armand for getting another SPS up and running.:thumbup::thumbup:
It's off to a good start.

I don't have any new photos for today, so I went back to my archives and decided to post some photos of my Buck/Hoods collection.

This was one of many manatees I spotted floating down the Weeki Wachee River last December near my home.

To be honest this small Avid is my main EDC anymore. I like the Avid over the s30v just don't like the carbon scales. Hand picked this one in a knife shop for the light scales. 300

Great show today and Happy Easter to Everyone.

ITE, love that 315. I have a Camillus and two made in England in my collection.

For today I think we need more Vantage pictures.

One of my hunting partners just began hunting again this past fall - he hadn't hunted since his teenage years down in Florida. This past Monday morning, on his second turkey hunt, he took this nice two-bearded tom. He had asked my advice on buying a hunting knife last fall; of course I told him to get a Buck! He finally got to use his 497 on Monday. Happy Easter! OH

HAPPY EASTER

This is the new 387 2 blade large Toothpick called the Fishpick. It is an exclusive made for Smoky Mountain Knife Works and the fifth in the series. Like the others, it was a contest knife with 10 having a gold fish shield instead of a nickel silver one. If you were lucky enough to receive one with the gold fish you won a bunch of stuff. Kinda reminds me of the Willie Wonka contest. The scales are laser etched smooth bone with a lake bottom scene. Construction of the knife is excellent. The blades have perfect tension and snap and the construction is tite as viewed from the spine. With 2 blades the handle is fatter than the single blade toothpick and has a little more to hold on to. New feature on this knife is a liner lock on the main blade. While the cosmetics of this knife are perfect the only fault I can find relates to that liner lock.... the blade on my sample doesn't open quite far enough for the lock to engage. All in all, a neat knife for not much money.
