This week I received a 110 Folding Hunter Special Edition 50th Anniversary Boxed set. I thought I was not going to be able to get one of these at a reasonable price but my earlier contacts paid off and I received a call a couple of weeks ago with someone I know getting 1 allocated to them and it was mine if I wanted it. The 1st one is the Federal in the classic thin design, Macassar Ebony handles and 440C steel blade. And I must say after seeing some others the one I received has the best fit and finish yet. The 2nd is the Magnolia with forged sides with squared off corners, Macassar Ebony handles and 440C steel blade. The 3rd is the Weld built like the current version with Macassar Ebony Diamondwood handles, and etched 420HC blade, And the 4th is the Lochsa with textured g-10 handles, satin finished bolsters, belt clip, thumb stud, and S30V blade. Each came in it's own Buck Limited Edition box with black leather sheaths except for the Lochsa since it has a pocket clip.

Each knife is individually serialized #017/110.

All except the Federal has the early 50th Anniversary tang stamp, The Lochsa (the last one) has it etched on the tang.

I am keeping it boxed up for now so the display case etc is still all wrapped up. The knives themselves were easy to remove for the pictures without disturbing the rest of the contents.

The last picture is a herd of elk that were on my back property Friday. This is the 1st time I have had them on my property although I have seen this herd several times before.

While uploading pictures of the Fishpick my wife excitedly called for me to come out on the front porch.
This beauty is sittling on the piece of petrified wood I was using as a prop to take my pictures just 10 minutes earlier.
You couldn't stage a better picture.

Cvovillia, The picture you are trying to post must be on a picture sharing service like Photo Bucket. Then you copy the URL and frame it as you did
. You cannot post a picture that is on your computer.

Thanks for the beautiful images today.

Cvovilla, I sent you a visitor message. Go to your profile (click on your name or "my profile" at top right of this page) and click on the "visitor messages" tab.

Here are some of my favorite Bucks:

Your spectacular Turkey OH led me to thoughts of carving so here is one of the many different carving/kitchen knives Buck offers (burgundy paperstone handle) and a diving duck for your amusement:

Happy Easter everyone and thank you Armand for bringing us all another Super Sunday Picture Show (and for the fantastic 110 Damascus blade).

Great show going on so far everyone. Love those pictures of new and old. Love seeing all those Vantage's. I only own 1 small vantage but plan on getting more eventually. Those feel great in the hand and have a great blade design.

Here are a few pictures of a Buck 904 Custom Sub-Hilt Bowie. I have this one in my living room on display for now. Features a mirror polished blade, brass guards and bolster with red trim and desert ironwood handles. Measures 12 1/2" in length.

Also is a Pheasant that has been hanging around in my field alongside my house for the last month. A few days ago he started standing on an old pile of hay and watching over all of us. This seems to be his new favorite spot since we see him sitting there several times a day now. Sorry for the fuzzy picture. He will not let me get very close before he dives behind the pile and skirts off into the taller grass so he is quite a ways away.
