The Sunday Picture Show... (4-24-2011)

We try to keep the props as real as possible in our house.

Tony, That is a great photo-- and I noticed he has interest in Buck knives and water guns! DM

This is a 110 that I engraved recently for a client. It has nickel/silver bolsters and custom "Maury Mountain" agate scales by Redrummd. It was difficult to photograph because of the high polish on the scales and bolsters"

Peter, that's some fine work you and Redrummd do... It's a beautiful 110...
Thanks for sharing it with all of us... ITE...

Here's a 103 I bought on the BCCI auctions. I have never seen one before, and can't locate the info. Does anyone know when or who it was made for, or what BCCI newsletter has the special production list in it? Thanks for any help!!!

Jim, that's a beautiful 103... I have a custom blade just like it... What kind wood is the handle made out of???

Best,
Herbert

Nice 103 Haebbie... ITE

Here's a 501 with engraved bolsters.

HK, that's a sweet 501... ITE

Thanks Armand! Is yours etched and serialized? Also, I was hoping you or Haebbie could tell me the type of wood :D

Jim, I just have a 103 custom blade with no handle or number on it... I want to put some stag on this one... Sorry about that... ITE ... :o

Jim, Armand,

The handle seems to have the same wood like the standard wooden 103.
It looks like impregnated Birch --- nothing special.

Best,
Haebbie

One of the XM9 prototype wire cutter sheaths . This one was not sent for the MPBS trials and in a private collection.
