Happy Sunday to all and thank you Armand for starting another great Sunday Picture Show.

For this week I have a Buck 923 Medium Skinner with beautiful stag handle scales, brass guard and pins, and a custom brown leather sheath.

Knife looks better in person than in the pictures and feels great in the hand.

This last Summer while going to the Buck plant for the BCCI 25th Anniversary and just before the turnoff to get there you look up at an electronic billboard to see what is in the last picture. Than the excitement really hit.

This thread, SPS, is too cool for school. Its future, many gracious thanks to ITE, is so bright that is has to wear shades. :)

Great knives are a feast for my sore eyes. I celebrate you contributors. May you live a thousand years.

I couldn't dig Desert Chris's masterful creation of scaled Hoyt Buck's anvil if it was buried gold. It has become a cherished possession, a four-leafed clover, like a pocket full of diamonds. Steuben move over.

Custom Shop 110 with nickel silver, oak and S30V blade steel hits my bull's eye:

Wildlife.... Springer Spaniel Puppy..... looks innocent enough, but has razor sharp needle teeth ready to draw blood....lol

I aquired this 277 in need of rehab, scales bubbled, some mild corrosion, chipped blade......

Here she is all prettied up next to a cherished 424 that Oregon sent me :)

That 277 was born again in your hands. The 424 has grown a tail, a twisty one... :)

A charming couple, two of my favorites:

Buck has given the name Caping Knife to 3 different models over the years. Top knife is the familiar 116. This nice 1-liner is c.1963-1967. The middle knife is the Model 294 done for Bass Pro c.1996 and is the rarest as only 101 were made. The bottom is the Alaskan Guide Caper model 474. 1,000 of these were made for Cabela's in 2008.

Howdy fellas, great show so far-love that Federal for sure.

Continuing with my recent spa returns,

before and after pics of a 105 inverted 3 liner back from spa. Was in decent shape, see the scars on spine from someone batoning or hammering.

Here's another fancy 107 to go along with ITE's. This is from the 2012 Legacy collection. Classic Bolt Logo in gold on the mirror polished blade, Elk handles, and mosaic pins round out the package. Limited edition of 250.

Keep the pictures coming... ITE ...

Another great show of Great Looking Buck Knives for this rainy Sunday.

I really like what Chris did to that poor looking Folding Alpha Hunter. I also do most of my own work on depressed looking knives with the excepting of blade replacement, I let the pros at Buck take care of that.

Here are some couple of year old pictures of a sad looking two dot 112 that had some blade ground off it. I decided to keep the blade on this one because it wasn't that bad. The scales and bolster really didn't need that much work. Various grits of sandpaper and a grinder with a polishing wheel were most of my tools. A bit of wood polish on the scales brought out the grain of the wood.
