The Sunday Picture Show... (4-6-2014)

All I need now are Oregon's Duck Blades...

:)

Very nice ITE. Good get. What are the blades you have there?

Selectors are so cool. Changeables, transformers, you are the decider, have it your way, knife dictator, etc.

Another great show of Great Looking Buck Knives for this rainy Sunday.

I really like what Chris did to that poor looking Folding Alpha Hunter. I also do most of my own work on depressed looking knives with the excepting of blade replacement, I let the pros at Buck take care of that.

Here are some couple of year old pictures of a sad looking two dot 112 that had some blade ground off it. I decided to keep the blade on this one because it wasn't that bad. The scales and bolster really didn't need that much work. Various grits of sandpaper and a grinder with a polishing wheel were most of my tools. A bit of wood polish on the scales brought out the grain of the wood.

Before

After

Nice job on that 112 :)

I love getting a good deal on a fixer upper, and giving it a second life, all pretty and funtional as they should be :)

For shock value, here is my shaved face photo with the rehabilitated 277 after it was used as a razor :)

Heya guys. Glad to be back this week!

Love that 923. Doug looks like you've got one of the first Federal's North of the border. I'll have to wait for mine.

Here's my shots for Armand's greatest show on earth:

A first version 110, next to a 50th Anniversary with a very dark front scale, next to a 50th I rescaled with stabilized Koa and inlay pins.

Here's another fancy 107 to go along with ITE's. This is from the 2012 Legacy collection. Classic Bolt Logo in gold on the mirror polished blade, Elk handles, and mosaic pins round out the package. Limited edition of 250.

Happy Sunday to all and thank you Armand for starting another great Sunday Picture Show.

For this week I have a Buck 923 Medium Skinner with beautiful stag handle scales, brass guard and pins, and a custom brown leather sheath.

Knife looks better in person than in the pictures and feels great in the hand.

This last Summer while going to the Buck plant for the BCCI 25th Anniversary and just before the turnoff to get there you look up at an electronic billboard to see what is in the last picture. Than the excitement really hit.

Give me a call on the weekend Armand-broke my phone into a million(slight exageration) pieces in a fit of rage over its defects over a year ago and your number was lost with it.
