ITE, Thanks for starting another SPS:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

That is a fine looking 111 you just received:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

No 111's in my collection, but I just recently added 110. Here is a few pics:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Good Morning Armand! Thank You for doing the SPS every week. I haven't taken any pictures to display today. I just want to comment on the aluminum 111 3 dot. I have 3 and the first one I purchased had a name engraved already. I then aquired 2 without names. I love the scroll work and if you are looking for thin this is the knife for you. A hair over 3/8 wide, .390 to be exact. The sheath is also beautiful with the leather work. Also a mirror blade. Many things to give it a:thumbup:'s in my book. It is most likely the lightest Buck that was made. Have a GREAT day!! I just noticed something from your pictures on the left side at the rear BUCK is engraved on every knife.

Simply a beautiful 111 with a very cool-looking sheath!
Your granddaughter has a discerning eye. :)

Thank you ITE for another SPS. That is a very nice Classic, with all the candy:thumbup:!

A recent acquisition of mine, my first D. Yellowhorse, to add to my 192 accumulation. Preston

I don't have much to show, I'm packing up to move across town, so here's my 112 I'm carrying around this morning.

Very nice knives gentlemen! Thank you for sharing them. It's fun to see all the wonderful Buck knives everyone posts in the show.
Here is a new Mesa I got a few months ago. I really like the size and feel of it!
I think Buck did a great job on this one.

The last of my 1/4" thick Ti bolsters I'll be keeping for myself with my favorite Buck steel BG42. Thanks to Lance for hooking me up.
It's an approximate 30v anodized gold with faint purple blues.

Nice looking knife. Good job

Thank you Makael. Here's another I don't think I shared. I milled the titanium guard for it.

Thank you, Armand, for another GSOE. I like these buck classic a lot. The more I am glad that I got a drop point 111 from my best American friend Dave M.

Thanks ITE for another GSOE, I pleasure for every Sunday.
I like the 111 Aluminum, I have 2, one with my name in the placard just the wrong spelling (Truman Not Turman).
I picked up this 503 the other day. It is a bit small for my sore old hands so no expected pocket time.

Went to the store for milk and bread this morning, brought this back.

Thank you for posting the pics! I have chased 112's since 2007 and this is the very first time I have seen one like this! It's numbered 0040 and came in a big Buck custom box with a wood plaque. So I'm fairly sure it came from Buck and not a aftermarket company. Lazer etch handle and engraved bolsters plus the blade etch 1919 1986 ...I looked at the history of the West Virginia police and I couldn't find any reference to 1986 as a celebration of anything. .Has anyone seen or heard of this 112?
