I never saw one before either. Cataloged from 93 to 98. There were 2, Blue coarse and a Red fine. When I saw it on the table the crazy thing that flashed thru my mind for just an instant was NO!, Buck wouldn't make a Butterfly Knife... It's in unused condition. Price asked and paid... $4.

I met with a father and son today for lunch that I had met at the Pasadena show earlier this year. Tim (the son) is a Union carpenter and I'd told him I had a Special Projects knife that was made for the Carpenter's Union. He was very excited about that so I offered to give it to him. We finally got together today and he and his Dad presented me with a pristine, new in the box Esquire. It's the one with the hidden rocker rivet, maroon micarta scales and 440C blade made from '78 to '80. It's really slick with the stainless bolsters and having the whole perimeter of the knife polished. Note: The small flaw seen next to the front bolster in the third picture I didn't even notice until I took the picture. You can hardly see it in hand, the light just caught it right to show up in the picture.

No knife this week. Staying in Spain (Mallorca) for cycling. Next week I'll like to show you some fishes.
Best, Haebbie

Very impressive!
I have, among others, a Wes Chapman, BUCK 120-S leather sheath (natural). It's very well made, thick leather, and much more practical for use than any of the factory sheaths of the same era. I've placed a mint factory 1978 BUCK 120 Stag into it, and it really complements this knife. He was a true artist!
Respectfully,
Omer
