gsea - That 124 with buffalo horn Leroy did for you is one of the best looking handles I have seen and those rams horn ones are a close second.

Haebbie - I have yet to find one of those yellow micarta 124's. Very nice set you have there.

OH - Thanks for sharing your 124's, and great pictures too.

EEE - Your knives are second to none. That mastadon ivory 124 is the cats meow. 1st place trophy goes to you.

Here is a couple more LE 124's with buffalo handles, nickel silver horse inlay and chipflint blades.

OK I will finish up with a 124 MOP. Just curious anyone ever see or hear of the 124 Daniel Boone, or is it a urban legend?

gsea - White Mother of Pearl 124 - WOW what a beauty. I have never heard of a Daniel Boone 124 but maybe someone else has.

Here is a black micarta 124 with moose cutout.

Wow is all I can say.
Tripple with the stag stretched 124 is awesome along with that feather Damascus.
That buffalo horn 124 is pretty stunning also.
To me the 124 is one I can't decide on. Some look great and some look like, well, what were they thinking. But there are a few beauty's on here today!

This is a very very good SPS. I can not compete but seeing the revolvers I had to whip out my one and only 124 and post a pic. Since we went to the range today there were a few things at the ready.

I have to say I appreciate all the photos rare, common, expensive, unique. I unfortunately learned there are a few different 122/124 1967's out there which is making it hard to get all things 1967!!

James the scrimshaw is over the top. Here is a 124 DB "proof". Can't remember who posted it( I think it was EEE).

Also here are 5 (only 5 made) Amber stag that Leroy & Heath did for the BCCI last year.

Thanks gesa for posting that picture of the Daniel Boone 124. Boy wouldn't that be a nice one to find and even nicer if you found it for sale.

Too bad they don't do more with artwork and etching like that. Fantastic.

I have been a Buck collector for some 40 years and have a pretty extensive collection.
A few years ago I retired needed something to do. These are a few of my own personal creations.
maybe not everybody's thing customizing the Buck the way you want it. but I get a lot of
satisfaction from it.
Note. They are all stamped with my initials and not for sale. Its a personal thing.
The first 6 are modified Buck 124s and the Damascus is 100% me
Thanks for looking

Survival, you can just share your 124 on the Sunday Picture Show... we would all love to see them... If not today next Sunday or the following Sunday or whenever... thanks for sharing...

:)

Great knives today everybody and please keep them coming.

JB4570 - Your Franklin Mint knife is pretty close to a long 124 - Very nice. Thanks for showing it.

Thanks again to all for posting. Everyone who views this thread I am sure appreciates it very much.

Hi James, I thought I'd post some more info on the long Franklin Mint "Buck made knife". Buck did make this long blade and sent it to FM and they put the handle on it. I found a small article in one of the old BCCI News Letters and they called this knife the Buck 902 Bowie.

Here is a link to an old thread on that knife.
