The Sunday Picture Show... (5-3-2015)

Thanks for the awesome knives! Armand thank you for your time and effort!
Today I am sharing two knives!
First is a real old, I need help dating single line Buck Fisherman 121, with a sheath I have never seen before.

Thanks Craig, for sharing on the SPS... That's a sweet 121
and some great pictures...

I have one like yours but I'm not sure what year it was made...
I've always liked the double keeper sheath...

:)

I must say that the leather handle 119 and the Ron Hood knives look great. Nothing new here.

Let all give PCL a big Thank you... It's his first time sharing
on the SPS... ITE ...:thumbup::thumbup:

Do you remember your first time... ... :)

Welcome to PCL, we always need some new folks to the Greatest Show. The thing about the show is to show your Buck knives no matter if they are a custom or one from WallyWorld all are welcome. Here is an old picture of a couple 110 left over from Christmas 2007 at WallyWorld. A box of them got left in the storeroom and was found after Christmas. Looking back I should have bought more but I think we all have a time like that. They are still in the plastic today.

Great Show today:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:Thanks to everyone for sharing:thumbup::D:thumbup:

Really like all the Hood/Bucks:thumbup:

Cvovillia, Here is the newer version of your 121:thumbup::thumbup:No expert with dates but would put your's at Early/Mid 1960's, Sweet Knife, and even sweeter sheath!!

Here is the newest addition to the "Bucks older than me", part of my collection, traded 2 stag bucks younger than me for it:confused::confused:

And a few other olders!!

Wanted all inverted 2 liners...Still not completely there

A wildlife pic of something that swam below me when I was out with a snorkel and goggles in Jamaica!!

It was Buck Sunday at my local swap meet, (at least it was for me).

1967-72 Buck 311 Trapper, a Camillus-made Buck. In 1971 I bought a 311 & a 313 at the same time, (313 Muskrat). The 311 was stolen in a burglary years ago, (I was carrying the 313 at the time, that's why I still have it), so I've been looking for a roommate for the Muskrat ever since....today was the day! Had to pay $20 for it, (the guy knew what he had), but due to it's age, condition and relative scarcity I thought that to be reasonable, (plus it's the only one I have ever seen locally). Both blades are tight, smooth opening, well centered, and both took an edge easily. Both blades and handles are pristine, and the blades snap closed smartly like you would expect from a well made knife. All in all a good day at the swap, also found an old Hammer Brand pen knife & a German "Whale" stamped smooth bone pen knife for cheap today too, (waaaay cheaper than this Buck), but this 311 was the jewel of the day.

The Buck 102 thread has had me thinking about the blade design; my ode to the Buck 102 and some of the birds it's cleaned. OH

Thanks!!A few years back I went to a storage auction about 40 minutes away because I saw it listed in the items. Only one other person bidding on it so it went in the back of the truck for $55, Less than I paid for a lot of the Knives in it:eek:. Came complete with keys, 2 level, with storage below and rotating 4 sided display on top:thumbup::thumbup:

Missing the 116 and the 105.....right now a one line 116 and a 3 line inverted 105 are what need to be replaced

The scaler was discontinued shortly after the change to 2-lines. The 2-line fiber spacer 121 can be found both with and without the scaler. The 2-liner with the scaler is rarer. Looks like you will also be needing the one without....
