The Sunday Picture Show... (6-13-2010)

I don't believe that mine is a build out. It came in a black LE box with the cat. # 0111EKSBT-B, dated 07/02/2008. All the other buildouts I have came in regular Buck boxes and had BO in the number.

You are correct Dave, as in it was not a build out order for the 12/09 factory sale. But, some were sold in the 12/09 factory sale with your box numbers. Just note the differences I pointed out when compared to the early Bass pro shop version.

OH YEAH! That's a beauty. I don't believe I've ever seen that one before. Is it a Buck done handle or did someone else do that one? Almost wish you hadn't shown that, now I'm off and searching again!

Thanks Dave, I really don't no who did it... It's from a ex-buck-employee... She worked there 26 years... I wish I had two of them, I would give you one to go with all your Beauty... ITE ...

Ok ITE,

I took some quick pics on just about all my accumulation today so I have file photos to pull up at a moments notice if something applies. Did it sort of fast so not all pics are the best they could be-took 88 pics in about 15 minutes.

Took a couple catagory group photos. Here is my all non-wood handle group

Cool Kevin! A great assortment you have there. Now lets see the wood handles!

Whoever thought up the idea of this Sunday picture show was a genious, sweet knives folks, some really nice looking handles/bolsters/blades this time, some i've never seen before, absolute beauties!

Here's a fun one. For speculating or WAGing. I am saying Buck got ground off and Remington pad printed. See grind marks on tang. Camillus same shape and size models had straight bolsters....they didn't spend the extra shop step of grinding a swedge.....or maybe a Buck/Remington deal fell thru, remember they did 301 and 311 with Winchester escutcheons and Buck tangs.........good for a chuckle anyway.....300

imafritz I see your Vantage is signed by the "MAN" Chuck Buck . Nice.

Yeah, that was a great experience, got to chat for 15-20 minutes with him, if you look at the earlier post of little knives, the hartsook and then the Duke up above along with a 425 of my daughters(not pictured) and a nano bantam I gave to a friend were also slgned and very gladly by The MAN(appropriate distinction):)
