The Sunday Picture Show... (6-21-2015)

Here are yesterdays flea market finds. Nothing special but having driven the distance I did not want to come away empty handed.
It's an addiction that needs fed. Is anyone else ever bothered by the word BUCK on the snaps that is never rotated straight or is it just me?

My 3 latest. The 119 was a bit of a restoration project as the tip had been broken off and poorly reprofiled. The 105 is simply awesome; got it from Stumps. Thanks man. The 110 is a 2 dot that has a great patina to the handle.

I have never asked that question, we should have put it on the list. I did hear Leroy Remer, at BS, tell someone not to open and close 110/112 snaps if you are inhouse. That you can wear them out easily. If you have the sheath put up or do not carry it on belt always leave snap open....FYI

James, Really neat 110:thumbup::thumbup: Desoto, we all have the addiction:D

Here are 2 of my favorites :confused:I have lots of favorites, first issue Kalinga and Akonua

These 2 pics came out nice:D

Happy Father's Day for everyone! Armand Thanks for the Sunday Picture Show! Thanks All for sharing beautiful photos of Buck Knives. Today it is especially wonderful show.

Thanks Armand and Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. :)

Michigan Craig….that abalone looks fantastic!! Great job!!:thumbup::thumbup:

James…that 110 that Leroy built was an excellent find!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Just got home and didn't have any new photos taken…so here's an older one of my favorite 110s….a four color Arium etched bald eagle.

I was out trying to build up the miles I can walk and came across several of these tracks.
They were from where a sea turtle came ashore and buried her eggs.
I saw crows eating some of the fresh eggs on my way back.

This was taken just as the sun came up on my walk this morning…the sun rising over the Florida peninsula, the Gulf of Mexico two feet behind me.

Thanks Armand for another great SPS. Meet Cvovilla at the blade show and his lovely girl Kim whom proudly whipped out her EDC marksman. I was impressed. Guess it could motivate a guy to do that quality 503 rehandle job.

Meet some other great buck nuts but missed that stumps fellow? Planned to show him my fat V1V1 110. I was able pick up a master series 110 and the BCCI meeting.

Anyhow, great pictures everyone. Here is the unloved buck toothpick knives, but I like'em.

A couple more old photos I have to show another four color Arium etched bald eagle that I have to go with the one I posted earlier today.

These photos don't do them justice. Very hard to photograph mirror finish blades.

Some more Buck Toothpicks. Top two are 385 and 386 China Bucks and the bottom one is a 333 Camillus contract knife.

Just a short note to point out that from 1976 to 1989 the majority of the etching for Buck was done by Aurum Etchings of Garland, TX. A few knives during this time were also etched by Baron Etchings. The colored Bald Eagle was one they produced. The coiled rattler was an etch done by Aurum.

Buckfan22 - You have been holding out on us. Wow, great collection and setup.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
