The Sunday Picture Show... (6-23-24-2018) . . . (OLD Show look at the DATE...)

I have here a 506 "LADY BUCK". The Lady Buck designation did not last very long as this knife first appears in the 1979 catalog labeled as White Knight. Any you see today are not white anymore as the resins in the micarta have yellowed. Also of interest is the box, the first I have ever seen of that shape.

Gee, having just finished hitting the "Like" button a zillion times it got me to pondering. Text messaging and Like buttons are taking away personal communication...

Last night my wife received a bunch of text messages concerning an upcoming family event. Not one person bothered to call and talk. Even Armand has given in, remember the day when he gave out personal compliments and how special that made you feel about your post?

I think it was Makael who commented on the Like button recently but it didn't sink in until just now.

The fact that we are all on the internet instead of physically interacting with people on a Sunday afternoon doesn't bother you though ?
I for one think the like button is a good idea because without it I am sure many people would not make a comment at all.
As far as texting goes I am right there with you.
I fought texting as long as I could. Just seems ass backwards that you have a device that actually allows you to communicate clearly with some via voice communication But you we choose to have conversations via texting that sometimes are as clear as mud.
