The Sunday Picture Show... (6-30-2019) . . . (OLD Show Look at the DATE...)

Work knives, both of these are favorites.
Just got back from the Bahamas yesterday, seen a fella using a Buck 9" empress to fillet this tuna. Said his dad picked it up at a yard sale for $3 and gave it to him. I don't think he knew how rare it was but he wasn't willing to sell it either, said it was his favorite. I hadn't had fresh tuna before and saw plenty of meat left when they were done and volunteered to finish it off. So I used the buck bait knife to cut the spine and the 6" fillet knife to take the rest of the meat out.

STEELHEADBULLY they are some remarkable 112's and I really enjoyed seeing them! Is the Damascus blade a 112? I wanted to share a pic of some of my 112's that went to Altanta. The WBC 'Running Horse' is the only mirror polished Chipped flint blade that I have seen a looks dramatic with the partial chip. I just sent this picture to David to ask DY about the early 'Lacy' with the satin finish blade and he confirmed there was only about 16 or so made with it. The MOP in the brass frame was a employees or a possible customer returned early CS 112 because of a slight inclusion. 20190606_110734.jpg

Thank You again ITE for the Greatest Show. I haven't posted in a while. Took this picture for this and another thread.

Well, duh, I blew that, for sure...Pete, I had a tough day yesterday, so I wasn't awake! I can take it, no problem. Thanks, Pete and sporting specialist, I stand corrected and wasn't even close. Hope there were some good laughs around!

hope all is well today!

Wow, lots of great pictures and beautiful buck knives like always. I would love to have one of each. Keep them coming and thanks for sharing. ITE...

Awesome pics everyone! I have a fun one today, my second longest owned knife.. I found it in the second grade during a field trip, just sitting in the grass at a park! I looked around and didn't see anyone nearby that could've dropped it, so I kept it and used it for a lot of my early years. You can see some of my earliest attempts to learn sharpening too  Haven't carried it in a long, long time but it still locks up good and solid!

bucksway, The 112 Damascus selector just found its way to my collection recently, along with a few other really nice mastodon knives. Here is a 112 that was acquired for me at Blade this year, was going to post it in the cold drink thread, but figured you would want to see it here first.
