At one of the Buck factory clearance shindigs, I picked up a few pieces for myself, as well as some for my son.

Some highlights from that day:

A custom 110 and a 297 Sirius:

Assorted plunder: (including a 309-marked Whittler 310)

Here's the 297 Sirius I picked out for my son, with his name engraved, along with sigs from Chuck & C.J.:

Not a bad day, all things considered.

Hi All,

Another fantasic start for the SPS. I've been away with the family doing the July 4th vacation for the last few weekends and no comp links up there. Also no new photos to post, so here is a 1986 Buck 110, Bear with Cubs in Tree (many here have one of these knives). FYI: A fellow got too close to a she Griz and her cubs this week in Yellowstone park, he paid the price with his life.

Heath, Nice work. Haebbie, Your old English script stamp is one of the first 107's and the block stamp came later. Both nice. Tony, Nice ram 110. I knew you'd been on vacation and I'm trying to make up my mind where. Maybe Colorado? JB, I like that one. Thanks guys for the nice photos of your knives. DM

DONE, kinda, I think?

Here are a few that where Cabela's exclusives. They have an Elk head in gold on the handle.

BUCK 428 "THE SELECTOR"

How do you like the two bladed Selector? I am wishing that Buck would bring it back with the perminant blade as a back locking, instead of a slip lock blade. HL PS that is a very nice looking selactor.

Thank you. I do like this model selector. I agree that it would be nice if the main blade was locking. It seems to be a popular model, but most discontinued BUCK KNIVES are.
