Late to the picture show. I took a table at a 3 day knife show this weekend. Even though I did not manage to sell any of my unwanteds, I still had a great show. Here is a sampling of some of the knives that followed me home.

First up, my favorite, an early pre-factory model 108 Sportsman. It is a tiny knife with a 3.5" blade. This deal started last year and finally came to term$ this weekend.

Another knife added to the collection is this barrel-nut 118 with leather spacers. First year of factory production, 1961. The sheath is exceptionally nice.

My collection of Buck fillet knives has been growing slowly but surely. A model 127 OceanMate was found this weekend.

A pair of Mini Mentors followed me home also. Both are found listed on the 2002 Special Projects list.

On top is a Poly Pearl version. Interestingly, no model number or date code, Just BUCK/USA in block letters. Looking at Haebbie's pictures his all show Old English Custom type tang stamps. Came in a 4-color box with a black leather pouch sheath. 1 of 285

The lower knife is called Running Deer. Gold plated cutout and burl handle. This one came in a black LE box and unfortunately, the sheath was missing. 1 of 132
