Good Sunday morning everyone!!
Thanks Armand for getting another SPS up and running!!
That is a nice Buck knife you started today's show with. I've not seen one like that before.:thumbup::thumbup:

Chris….what can I say? :)

John…nice to have you back this week. I always look forward to seeing part of your great collection!!:thumbup::thumbup:

I have several posts for today's show. Will start it off with more 50th Anniversary Buck 110's.
I posted the top Ruger/Buck last week, but have been trying to get two of each of the 50th Anniversary variations. Well, I added another Ruger/Buck this week.
I also just received the third quarter anniversary 110….the Weld. I actually like these much better than I thought I would.

Cool pictures gents! The 560 thread had me pulling out my only 560. My wildlife photo is of one of the wild ponies that inhabit Shackleford Banks in coastal NC, just south of Cape Lookout. OH

Here are a couple oddball 110's I have from 2003.
They both have the "Buck/110/USA" tang stamp on the front but the year code is stamped on the pile side.
Also….the front knife has no nail notch.

A 112 of 1989 vintage. (A close look will reveal a small chip in the blade edge — not from me! I'm slowly sharpening it out.)

And because it's summer, here's a two-dot 110 in winter.

Great show so far! Thanks Pops for getting her going faithfully every Sunday! Love that proto Bucklite!
This week I have to share a story with everyone, after my oldest son and I joined the BCCI and got our newsletters and catalogs in the mail, my youngest says to me " Dad I wanna join the club and I want to get the best knife in the whole world". So without hesitation I handed him the catalog and let him pick out a knife as I filled out his membership info. He comes across the 622 Endeavor! And says I want that one dad! That's the best knife in the whole world! So I ordered one for him! :) he is 5 years old and when it came in the mail he was happy but it's not the latest new video game, so this weekend while I was doing the yard work I told my sons that they had two options, clean their room or go outside and play. They choose to go outside lol. I brought them their knives and said go in the woods and use your knives! But be careful if course. After about an hour they are still cutting twigs and sharpening sticks! Both of them full of mosquito bites, I told them to see mom and get some bug spray on, next thing I see is my oldest spraying his little brothers back with bug spray and helping each other out, then back to the woods! I am one proud daddy!
For some wildlife. I caught a doe across the street, and while at the fair there was a really cool camel.

Hi guys. Haven't posted here recently but found the old 110 sheath below from a buy long ago and decided to try and bring it back to life... somewhat. Used some Obenaufs and very fine steel wool as well as a cotton cloth. Definitely better and worthy of a 110 but you'll notice the 110 in the pic is a newer one. This sheath should at least have a nice 2 liner in it right? The second pic is the 110 paired with my modified Old Hickory bushcraft knife.

Well utah_fish, I see you just picked you up a two liner for your sheath from Scott Hartman. Great choice.

From holidays an old picture from the 525 Groomsmen ;)

Thanks for watching.

Lot's of great looking knives. On another part of the forum there was talk about having different colors on the wooden scales. And I was thinking I needed to show my old 112 with very different scales. I actually look for this.

Some of you may have seen the two threads I started about re-handling my first and second Buck knives earlier in the week.
Well, I had more Sambar stag and even had a couple pairs of small dyed jigged bone that I wanted to use to dress up some of my carry knives.

Here are #3, #4, #5 and #6 Buck knives that I re-handled.

The Buck/Mayo Kaala was meant to be a neck knife, but I wanted something with a little more handle on it to back pocket carry.
I used the epoxy nail method of securing the Sambar stag to the Kaala.
The two 303's got dressed up as did the old 309.

I was taking some compost out back a few minutes ago and found this little black snake trying to have lunch.
I went back inside and brought my camera out. I got one picture, then the snake dropped his lunch and took off. Look at the two teeth marks on the back of that little hoppin' bugger.

Wow Mark!!

You have been super extra busy rehandling and making some sweet knives!!!

How about a thread on that Mayo? I would love to see the technique you used.
And the 300's too :)
