The Sunday Picture Show... (7-7-2013)

It pays to get down on your hands and knees sometimes. I spotted these two 110 Custom sheaths on the lowest shelf of a sporting goods store display case and had to get down on my knees for a better look. That's when I saw the little black one lurking in the corner, tagged for $2.97. The 110 sheaths were also priced attractively low. I have never seen the little one before and searched thru a bunch of the old catalogs and price sheets on the collectors web site and could find no reference to it. It is sized for a 503. Can anyone give me a vintage for the black sheath?

I've got at least one of those small open belt sheaths somewhere. I was thinking it was with a 501, but I could easily be mistaken.

^Very cool 112 D-RIG! Can you tell a little about this one?

Not a lot to say about the knife other than it looks fantastic , and that it's a honor to have a knife like this and being able to share it with you .

And it really goes great with this belt buckle . :D If anyone has information on the buckle please share .

Here's a 501 with the aforementioned black slip case.

I wonder if there was one each size for the 500. 501, 503 series, yours fits a 501, mine fits a 503, no way a 501 would go in mine. Sheathing a 505 wouldn't be practical.

If I remember correctly the 505s never came with a sheath...and the early 501s (with micarta and script Buck logo) initially came with the slip case.

Hi D-rig,

Yep. Who ever did the custom work on this 4 dot took all the sharp edge's off all the way around the knife "smooth".
