The Sunday Picture Show... (8-03-2014)

I received these in a collection of 143 knives I purchased from a retired Buck employee a couple years ago.

I like the 175 Lightnings, particularly the wildlife scenes. You've motivated me to try and find them all for a family photo, perhaps next week. I have never seen the bottom 2 on the left. Any chance you have the boxes and could tell me the name & cat #?

Here is a 176 in Carbon Fiber from 2000. There were (2) 176's. The second one was Gold anodized.

Sorry DeSotoSky but I do not have any boxes for the lightnings. The gold one is a bit unusual in that the blade shape and grind is a bit different.

If you can find them all I would love to see them in a future SPS.

Armand wanted a few odds and ends of Buck stuff. Most of these kind of qualify;

I had no idea Buck made that much non knife stuff. Which begs the next question, what does the inside of your house look like

Made me go search the drawers. I found 2, both NIB and just like yours with the different blade shape.
The importance of "family photos" is that you see differences in comparison you would never remember individually. Notice also the rivet construction instead of screws. That's the problem having so many hidden away and not on display. You forget what you have and what they look like.

Stumps that is quite the collection of so called odds and ends. Here is a few Buck Knives belt buckles I have slowly accumulated. Just wish I had a belt that the buckle could be changed on.

And a few other items thrown in a pile with a few Buck Anniversary knives from a previous SPS.

Send me your address to stumpknocker at gmail dot com and you might just get a Buck golf ball in the mail.

Buck diamond benchstones.... these work really really well for me :)
Add a 1000 grit ceramic stone, and those cover all my sharpening needs.

Most of my larger "Buck Stuff" Sits atop my shop display. Collection is one the left :)

Fantastic show again today everyone. I like seeing the diversity of the Buck line. I am always surprised, there are so many knife styles and other equipment I never knew existed.
Thanks Haebbie, I started to polish off the name then changed my mind.
