I forgot my wildlife photos. We had two fawns at the cabin but they declined to stand together for a group photo. This summer we had a breeding pair of Lesser Goldfinches. That's not common this far north in Wyoming. They usually stay south near the Colorado line.

I found this nice Jigged Buffalo / Cherrywood 501 at a gun show. . I inquired as to the price and asked if there was a box/sheath to go with it. He said he didn't have the original box but had another Buck box & sheath he thought it would fit in. I paid the asking price... $35. First bonus.... he handed me $10 back. Perhaps I didn't hear correctly....old man ears. Second bonus...he came up with this 110 box and sheath for it.

Sorry I couldn't contribute to yesterday's SPS, but I spent the weekend at the beach.

Roger...the 501 is nice, but that 50 year old box and sheath were excellent finds!!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Am I the only one who is always bothered by the BUCK snaps that are not straight?

Bothers me too.

I have had success rotating the snap by wearing a latex glove. The extra grip of the latex makes a big difference.
