Another great show everyone!

Nothing new and exciting from me. We spent the last 4 days in the mountains of Eastern KY hiking, fishing, and relaxing.
I hope this panoramic shot from Chimney Rock shows up.

I didn't think to take any knife photos but I took along my 560 with coated CPM-154 blade and my Tops BOB.

I did finish another G10 drop point and finger groove 110 with loops before taking off though. Yeah... fingerprints...

Here's my favorite Buck knife Classic 111...

WOOP WOOP there it is the all allusive brass 111 " now thats a knife "

Very nice braiding on the above 315 Yachtsman. Not being a old salt I am assuming the hole in the end of the little SS shackle pin could be loosened or tightened by the use of another marlinspike. Since those shackle types are used in various sizes on (sail) boats ?
I need to make a statement about the lever or ring on the 315, it serves to unlock the marlinspike when open and allows it to be closed..... 300

Awesome TAH! We're planning on taking the Scouts this fall as well. Some primitive camping appears to be in my future...lol Hopefully I'm not to citified.

Sounds fun, Pokt. I'll look for the Scout Leader with ten Buck knives hanging on his belt. :)

They are nicely done and are becoming popular.

They look cool and functional. Thanks for spotting that deal Michael. I like a good deal when it's spotted.

It's not spotting if it's the same person selling 2 similar to a point knives. I will delete if requested.

Mike, I was always on your side...until post 51.

He probably has those cnc'ed or jetted, has to disassemble, install, reassemble, sand, buff, use consumables, etc. If you don't like it, don't buy it. It's that simple.

It's nice to see someone take an idea and turn it into a reality. The spirit of entrepreneurship. Many ideas never get that far and if they do even more never get accepted. I think it's great someone we know came up with a great idea for a product most of us are familiar with. I guess in a way it's good to point out the negative, potential challenges like legal issues or high price points that might make it fail. But, I personally focus on the positive and root for the underdog. Anyway, now I know where to go to get one. Thx.

I used to go to the Red river Gorge at least 3-4 times a year when I was going to college in Dayton. Then when I moved to the Lexington area I would only make it about once a year(that's what happens when you have a job....), now that I'm back up in Northern OH I haven't been there since a little after meeting my wife about 8 years ago. It is where I did my first outdoor lead climb and the first place I experienced corn on my Pizza. the good ol days.....Is Miguel's pizza still there??? Thanks for reminding me of those great memories MTP:):thumbsup::thumbsup:

I answered someones question simple as that. I know what I saw and if you find the picture you'll see too.

That's the problem, you didn't answer his question. You don't know where these come from so how could you possibly answer the question? What you did was inject your foul troublemaking banter and trolling into yet another thread where you have nothing positive to add.

What I want to know is how you continue to get away with your trouble making. You're not even a paying member here. Your post was reported and it gets deleted? You should be banned permanently.

I'm to the point with this forum and its lack of policy enforcement that I'm not spending any more of my money to support it.

If you're curious about the original "Post 51" which was deleted and moved a different post up, here it is:

I used to go several times a year as well. Between RRG, Cave Run Lake, Carter Caves, and everything else out there, there was always a new adventure! It had been about 15 years since I'd been and nothing has changed! Yes, Miguel's is still there, the Snake Pit is still there, and the whole place is generally as humble as it had always been! I think we'll make a couple trips a year now!
