The Sunday Picture Show... (8-30-2020) . . . (OLD Show Look at the DATE...)

I like weirdo's....... They make me appear normal.:D
Who wants to be "normal"?
That would be kinda boring ...
My (maternal) Great Gramps (1892-1974) used to allege: "If you're not at least a little bit "crazy" (not "insane" they lock you up and don't let you have sharp things or guns, bows n' arrows/crossbows, sling shots, blowguns, spears, pikes, axes, hammers, swords, halberds, ... if you're insane) "life" would be mighty boring."

I Tried being "normal" for a week or so, back in 2nd or 3rd grade. (Never again ...! What a pain in the sitter that was ...) I think he was correct in his allegation. :D

I think Buck did not make any 112 as part of master series but they did make 112 with BG 42
This is what I know maybe some more experienced member will correct me .

farm the very few BG42 112's were from a blade swap project Joe Houser did around 2003..The deal was you could send in any 112 (I seen one 422) and $35.00 and Buck would install the BG42 blade and send it back to you. You did not get the blade they took out returned. There was only 100 or so blades made and they were etched on the back because originally they were not stamped and Joe didn't want to have to reheat them. They have a Custom and andvil tang stamp on the front. It was never offered on Bucks website..only on the Forum here. The hundred blades were sold out in apox 6 weeks. A lucky few ordered new 112's and had the blade installed I know one person ordered 5 for his sons. You find them in all kinds of handles but I personally only know of one in a Nickel silver frame. I actually held one in my hand in a beat up ratty brass frame offered to me in 2008 for $175.00 but turned down the deal. Now that I know better I would snatch that up and put the blade in nice NS frame with a fancy handles..

Why? It isn't a fingerprint/smudge magnet now. In my humble (probably biased anti fingerprint and smudge magnet) opinion, it looks great. :D

I'll enter a pair of "Special" 110LT's in the show, if y'all don't mind.

A May, 2019 Web Special limited production "Racer", and an SK BLADES "Smoke Jumper" SFO. :)

(Faux mason jar mug was 2020 Pappy's Day gift from the assisted living facility. Contains a fresh Iced Coffee (with Vanilla Caramel creamer) that needs more ice. A bit cool yet to head outside to drink it though.)
(I am a firm believer in the ancient pre-historic adage "A un-cluttered desk is irrefutable proof of a sick mind.")

All Buck Knives are welcome here... Especially Bucklites of any kind...

Thanks for sharing, ITE
