The Sunday Picture Show... (8-5-2018) . . . (OLD Show Look at the DATE...

Glad you got one, Mike, I wanted the Chief Joseph one, but not bad enough:rolleyes: got out bid. He sure does nice work...maybe someday. Preston

Great pictures today! Knives, hides, sheaths, food, fire, water, scenery, more knives.:thumbsup:

My 102 Woodsman and 105 Pathfinder for today's SPS. Standard models with 420HC work for me. I love 'em and I use 'em and they don't let me down. Great Buck knives. :)

I was lucky to get one. There were 3 with the 30th logo scrimshawed by fisk. One near the bolster(mine), one in the middle and one near the rear of the handle. so all one of a kind but similar...then the 4th that pjsjr was the underbidder on had a scrimshaw portrait of chief joseph by fisk, it was super nice and like many knives brought a hefty price, but most likely well worth it.

Far away from home I don't forget to post for Armand's greatest show on earth.
This knife I found at the national park canter south of glaciers park. Left in front is a 191 custom vanguard for the national park. They also have a 110 with a silver bear on the handle

Makael,

I missed checking out the SPS on 8/5, and glad I decided to go back and look it over. This sheath you fashioned is beyond "unique," and also really shows off the 124. I'm particularly impressed with the knife handle. These belong together!

I'm on the Henry Rifle Forums, and we have a sub-Forum called "Knives (and other things with an edge)." Thought I'd ask if I could share a couple of these photos, and some comments from your commentary, with the Henry Folk on our Forum? I know that some of them are knife knuts, and we've had some good photos and chat about our knives here.

Thanks. Great job on this cool-looking sheath.

Here is a pic of a 124 picked up last week. I picked up 3 Ray hides at Tandy. They only get them ever couple years. I had no idea the hide acted like Kevlar. This stuff feels like it would be bullet proof.
Score, score and score some more to cut it. The stitches go all over. Smells like bone when sanded. Anyway, turned out a unique sheath.

Sure, thank you. We're a 2 Henry household. Should be fun.
.22 and .44Mag.

Appreciate that, Makael. Don't know if you remember, but you made a sheath for me several years ago for my Tops/Buck CSAR-T 680. My design request was so I could carry either horizontal of vertical. Still use it, like it, and mostly keep in horizontal position. Has served me well.

Yup, I also have two Henrys. The Small Game Carbine in .22LR, and a BBS .357 Magnum Carbine. Really like the carbine models....both fine lever actions.

Thanks again!
