The Sunday Picture Show... (8-7-2011)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud.... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have some very Sweet Colt Knives... The first one I got from a ex-Buck-employee... I think it's a model 293 small bowie prototype number 000... This is the only one I know of, but there could be more... I have posted pics of this one a long time ago, this is for everyone that has never seen it... The other two are my 124 that I got from JB4570 and my new 110 Colt, Thanks too JB... JB, here's the family of colts that I have so far... I just need two Colt 500s and I'm done, I think... ...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

I love this little buck, it sees more pocket time than any of my other folders. I've been trying to get a back up for it but there very hard to come by in Australia.

I first saw the Model 113 at the 2011 Blade Show. Buck had a pre-production sample on display. I offered to buy it right then and there. The factory rep chuckled and said, "You'll have to get in line."

As soon as I found one for sale (a few weeks after the show) I grabbed it and was not disappointed. Buck has a real winner here and I think it'll stay in their catalog for a long, long time.

Unfortunately the factory sheath is kind of bland. It does a good job of carrying the knife but clearly this little jewel deserves something better in leather. I shipped it off to a custom sheath maker and he did it up just right:

Very, very nice! No, the images are not reversed. It's a left-handed sheath.

vice, nice Vantage is it the select 340 or the 345??? I like the look of the redlines in the handle... Cool picture too... ITE ...

I got to handle the 113 for the first time last week at a local shop. I'm impressed with the feel and if I had been a little richer, It would have came home with me!
Those Colt knives are real beauties!
Vice, Thanks for sharing the nice pic of the Vantage! I finally have a new Buck to show off this week. My Nephew, (14years old!) Brought me back a BP 110 from their vacation down at the beach. The pic shows two BP 110's and my latest Buck Custom Shop with S30V and Heritage Walnut Scales.

Thank you for looking. The damascus is one that I was able to get from Joe at the twenty year event, the plain blade one is one that I had found at one of my honey holes, and yes the damascus one does have two different type of handles on it, maybe a salesman sample to show off both stle of horn. HL

All very nice! I particularly like the blade profile on that Colt. Very interesting and unusual.

Well, I'm sure some of you saw these knives at ebay.
Thank you, that you left them over that I could buy them.

As always, Guys, have a nice Sunday.

Best,
Haebbie

After I saw the early 105 sell for $650 the other day, I had to dig this photo out. Not that I would sell mine for that, it did make me feel good!!

Amazing knives and photos again this week. Always love the SPS. :)
It was the inspiration I needed to get me to try to learn to use my newfangled digital camera.
Here's a common old 704...
since it found its way into my pocket it just seems to be there every day...

Jb, your welcome... That's a sweet little 271 you got there... Can you tell us more about it... Love that Damascus on it like that...
Nice pictures too... ITE ...:thumbup::thumbup:

ITE started the picture show this week with a Colt theme. Here is a pair of Colts from my own stable that I really like. The 700 series pocket knives are my favorites. Buck made 5,500 sets of the Aurum etched stable in 1979. Displayed are a nice pair of 703 Colts.

HK, I thought you bought that 105... ... Was that a good deal for it or way to much??? I love all your old Buck knives...
I wish I could find more out here at the swap meet... But I'm always at the wrong place or on the wrong row at the swap meet...

Thanks for sharing... ITE ...:thumbup::thumbup:

Hi Armand,

That little 271 Alpha Dorado is a Buck issued LE from 2007. It has a MP 154CM blade, "Rain Drop" Mokume & Giraffe bone handle, Mokume is a DM version of brass.

Ok here is the next set of my 500 display knives. Eagle, Colt, Little Big Horn 500's.
