As always, ITE, thank you for doing this every Sunday...and to all who post, thank you, also.

This is a 112 that I had Leroy work over/customize. It sports a BG-42 blade and nice walnut scales. I had him do the finger grooves and make them slimmer than the newer style. I like this and carry it as much as I can.

Happy Labor Day to all who labor. Preston

I used these two yesterday processing some tomatoes for canning. Both performed admirably. I don't just love the 105 but I've never been able to part with it either. Glad I kept it around because it was perfect for this job. Not the greatest pic, but this is my first go at uploading.

pjsjr any time I can look at a BG42 112 is a great day ..Only 100 or so blades out there its in the top 5 of "112's I must have " gedlicks your 112's are a fantastic group any 112 collector would love..DeSotaSky that 112 from 2006 is a great example and there is another animal cutout 112 a Antelope..I have one thanks to my Brother David but it is not colored..I remember early in my collecting days researching cutout 112's I figured 4 or 5 including tracks but now(64) I just can't recall what they were..

Roger - Those are handle halves for the 112 with what looks like ebony scales installed and ready for the next step.

I also had a set of 110 halves but gave them to Stumps a few years ago for his 110 collection. I still have the 112 halves somewhere.

OK... got it.... my first vision was the odd bolster circles that I did not even notice the lack of blades...
