The Sunday Picture Show... (9-4-2011)

Although it is the only one I have seen. It was advertised in the early ads. So I am assuming that there are probably more out there somewhere.

Hk, Some rare knives you have. Who made the smaller drop point for you 186 Selector? Also, did you go to the 20yr. Reunion and purchase your model 120? I didn't know Buck had Selector blades commerating the RMEF. A rare find. Thanks gents, DM

Thanks David. Joe made all the blades for the 186 selector, or at least I bought them from him. I was not able to go to the 20 year reunion. I purchased the 120 from the BUCK Collectors Club newsletter.

Gladiator, There are people looking for that GuildMaster knife. DeSoto, A nice collection of "Mates". I was surprised they lasted from 87 to 95. Now you and Haebbie have them. :thumbup:DM

HK, Thanks. Yes, it was offered there too. Nor can I believe that dagger!
Bad, I see bikers wearing/ carrying that model 110 you show in Damascus around town. That was a short run model at Buck. I've offered them $$$ for theirs in the past and not one is willing to part with it. DM

Interesting thing about this 602 Trailmate is that 1991 is the last catalog year.
The tang mark is clearly 1995.

First up is the 2 dot I've been working on to remove gouges from it's life as a hammer. The first and third pictures show the side (rear bolster)that had the gouges.

More than worth the 4 hours and all the elbow grease it took to bring it's shine.

I also found this little beauty. I couldn't turn it down at the price.

DeSoto, Yes your reading me right. The 87 catalog shows them 'as new'. The 5 mostly with olive handles the 602, 605, 620, 619 and 639 then in the 94 catalog it only shows the 603 and 619. So, it looks as if they were on there way out. DM

I also have an 87 602 so first & last year maybe. The 87 isn't as pretty as the 95 so my real "Mate" has voted that one to her camper kitchen. Fits her small hand well.
