Hi Roger, I wish I knew more about that 112. It was on an auction site for over a year before I pulled the trigger. My wife and I had taken our kids to a theme park and one of them wanted a family crest made in one of the parks shops. The crest had the Lion rampart's just like the 112 (so I bought it, the 112 that is). When that knife arrived the patina was unlike any I have ever seen, it looked like the color case hardening you see on a fine firearm. In time in changed to look like any other dirty brass :(. That is the story of that knife, no idea who or where it was customized.
