The Sunday Picture Show (April 11, 2021)

I have quite a bit of Buck stuff. Mirror, wall clocks, hats, t-shirts, mugs, stickers, patches, salesman's bags and much more.

Here are some small stuff from one drawer.

View attachment 1544638 View attachment 1544639 You can see from the 1st. picture that the clip standoffs have a small and a large shoulder. The small shoulder fits the clip. The large shoulder fits a counterbored hole in the handle.
In the 2nd. photo, you can see the counterbores in the R&L handles. The counterbore in the left handle accommodates the head of the slabbed (D cross section) T-nut. The counterbore in the right handle accommodates the larger shoulder of the clip stand off. Both counterbores are the same diameter.

gedlicks gedlicks takes over for the lead on the home stretch !!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks everyone for participating. See you all next week.
We've made some great "strides".

TAH - I am guessing that patch is a blazer patch. I don't have any info on it at all. I got it in a small group of items years ago from a former Buck employee.

I have never seen another like it.

Doesn't look like that knife blade held up very well to the bolt cutting test.

I think it's fair to say that you've never seen anything else like it because it's a bit of an advertising "fail" due to the stitching error, which is a shame because it could be a really nice patch.

That's beautiful! Thank you for the close-up photo, gedlicks. Blazer crests are expensive to produce and are individually hand-embroidered on felt, wool, or velvet using gold and silver bullion wire. The overall craftsmanship and attention to detail tells me someone did the best they could to represent the blade being hammered halfway through the bolt. Too bad we probably won't ever know when and why they were produced. A true Buck treasure!
