Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

Washington's_Inauguration.jpg

April 30, 1789 Inauguration of George Washington as first President of the United States
Washington was unopposed in the election
New York, Rhode Island, and North Carolina had not yet ratified the constitution and did not participate in the vote.
1790 census, 2,400,000 free and 600,000 slaves
Washington's formal education was at the grade school level

In 1995 Buck produced a gold etched 110 with a George Washington theme. That one has eluded me.
Buck (Camillus) 329 Freedom Trapper c.1985.
I have a note saying 5,000 of these were made but do not recall the source.
There are variations of the Pledge. What do you notice about this one?

At the VFW post I was a member of before moving several years ago, we had a program one night where a historian gave a talk about the history of the flag and the pledge of allegiance. It was in the 1950’s that the words ‘under God’ where included. Funny that of all companies Buck Knives used an older variation that didn’t include those words. Guessing that someone’s research turned up an old copy. OH

My 110s

Top to Bottom
0110ORSLT1-B... The elusive topo handle. Great knife.
Bucklite?.. don't have the box... got it for some ridiculous low price offer when I ordered a custom.
0110BRSWM2-C. I Don't support shopping at wally world, but grabbed a few of these ebony handles before the last price increase. I didn't really collect 110s at that point. Here we are.
Pretty sure this is an ebony 110. Picked it up broken for less than 10 bucks, then sent to spa.
0110BRS1LC-B. Danny collection. 1/290
0110BRS15-B. Magnacut.... 1/250

A Abe Stevens that is a very cool piece of memorabilia you have there...

Again Roger, thanks for the Sunday Picture Show and the history tidbit. Thanks also to all who post photos and comments.
Other than a few wrinkled and worn dollar bills this is as close to a G . Washington 110 as I can make a 110.

Good Sunday morning everybody. Thanks to Roger and everybody for displaying your beautiful Buck knives.
Another thanks to Roger for our history lesson. While I don't have a knife remotely close to our first president, I'll leave you with this thought. President Washington was the only president who couldn't fault the previous president with our nation's issues.
pjsjr pjsjr that's one sweet Buck!

Thank you for keeping the Sunday Picture Show going! This 112 has been in the collection for over 15 years and I only noticed it was a drop point recently lolol! It's a 'Roe Deer' cutout with a burl handle (Walnut??) and it's been on desk duty for a few weeks now. I get a kick out of actually using some of my odd 112's but I can't say they get used hard on 'desk duty' .. I like my Magnacut 110 but this one is really 20230313_133547.jpgsharp!!20230313_133531.jpg

I'm not really "into" blades with cutouts.

However that is a good looking knife!
