Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

"It's NOT a Buck 110"
This is a 2001 model XLT-Ti. Titanium handle with a gold anodized crystaline finish. The 560 was new in the 1989 catalog replacing the 186 Titanium that was introduced 2 years prior. I've seen suggestions that the switch from the "take apart" 186 to the riveted 560 was partially due to the number of people disasembling the 186 and not being able to get it back together. The 560 has progressed thru a number of variations over the years, becoming slimmer and the frame edge changing from a "shelf" to a "bevel" in 1993. There is also a black powder coated version. The Crystal version only shows in the 2001 catalog. I have seen 2003 stamps but interestingly no 2002 anvils. Hopefully we will see some of those others in the show this week and perhaps learn a little more about the Titanium history.

My photo background was the 30" plus stump of this huge Hackberry I'm having removed. Planted this in late 80's from a seedling we got from the arboretium. Regretted it ever since. It's a real yard dozer. Was rubbing on the house and roof so I had it trimmed back hard a few years ago... it grew back even faster. Tinkerbell is watching me from a nearby Maple stump I also had removed, it was dying in the crown

I have one Buck 560 and know very little about it. Obtained it in a GAW on AAPK ten years or so back. OH

Hello & Happy SPS day to all of the Buck entusiasts. As always a big thank you to Roger and all who post to these shows to make them a success. This week I have a unique 110 from the old custom shop to share, the "Prowler" 110 (the Prowlers are a car club out of SO Cal)

Don't have any Ti Bucks but this stylish 271 would be the perfect candidate to have been made in Titanium.
A bit on the heavy side but since everything else about it is so good I ignore it's heft.
Smooth operating, sharp 2.5" S30V blade, rosewood covers, liner lock all in a strong ergonomic steel frame.

Had it been made of titanium it may have been too good! ;)
Have a wonderful Sunday all!:thumbsup:

Another Sunday Picture Show , thanks Roger, and all who post and comment in this thread.
These are the Ti Bucks I have...

The auto is mysterious, a mirror polished blade(marked 560 with the date code for 1997), lightly marked PROTOTYPE on one side and C. M. K. (logo) E. K. on the other. The logo is difficult to make out but looks like blades crossing on or behind a shield. I would appreciate any info you might have on who did the work on this 560. Thanks
These are the best photos I can get of the auto's blade.

Thought I'd throw in a couple of fixed blades. The top 113 is an Alaskan Guide in S30V. The bottom is one I just picked up off the Forum, a custom shop 113 in S30V and Ironwood. I call them Buck's Little Big Knife. Quite capable of handling small game from pheasants to turkeys as well as deer. And as a bonus, they don't take up too much room on my belt.
