I agree. I have the Impala and burl version, and I think that's why I asked. This 532 reminds me of the TimberLake knives without the feather, or the Water Buffalo and wood bolster version.

Are you sure that the knife you have shown is Water Buffalo? Check the 2004 catalog for the 532 Impala and burl listing.or the Water Buffalo and wood bolster version.
Thanks! I've been hesitant to get an aftermarket sheath without knowing where to start. Thanks! I just got it last week so I don't have a ton of carry time on it, but I like this style over the original. It's the fourth sheath I have bought from a seller on Etsy. It was very affordable and really high quality. I can PM you with the details if you are interested.

That set really confused since the range for impalas is a long way from Siberia. Finally W B Cody gave me the story. The "Siberian" impala material came from impalas that were in a game farm in Russia. So they are impalas from Russia but not a species of "Siberian Impalas."Now to really confuse you on the Buck handle naming, the set below were called Siberian Impala. Siberia has no impala's (however they do have some spiraled horned animals) these are some kind of real spiraled horned scales I don't know from what animal? go figure!
Awesome information Bert, thank you! Siberian grown Russian Impalas (would have never guessed that). That set really confused since the range for impalas is a long way from Siberia. I did some checking and will agree with you. Sometimes Buck's advertising plays a little loose with the truth. Either way, it's a nice looking knife.it is Impala jigged Water Buffalo horn. Buck often call's their grooved jigged handles impala.
